Maria Palace — Hotel in Balchik

Apartament exactly like in the pictures - very large, modern and cozy with magical view of the seaside and a huge balcony ( there are rooms with smaller balconies ) There is a mini beach at 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel with sunbeds and umbrella's ( 7leva/each ).The cliff is full of bars and restaurants with an amazing view but there is no club. The ladys from the reception very friendly, they answer at all questions of the guests. The breakfast is vast, you only have to choose. The only minus from my point of view is that the parking area that is in front of the hotel is always full, if you are lucky enough to get a free space parking right in front of the hotel, there would be perfect, otherwise you must park in the paid area ( 10leva/24h ) - parking is not guarded!!! Despite this dissatisfaction I offer 5 stars because I was plesantly impressed by how the hotel looks and by the view we had...

The hotel is brand new, the room is amazing with bed linen white and clean. The cleaner does not make your bed, but that doesnt bother me.The bathroom is big with power shower. The food is okish, there is plenty of fresh fruit and deserts are very good. I am not a great meat eater, but my husband was not impressed with the meat selection. But salads and vegetable dishes are great. You never walk hungry there are plenty of snacks. The staff does not speak English but I tried really hard to learn how to say thank you in Bulgarian and I find it a challenge so why we all expect people to speak English. I found all staff members helpful and accommodating. The beach is near by in a walking distance. Overall the holiday was great value for money,so I will give them all at Maria Palace a well deserved 5...

I was looking for a hotel close to the port, because you need to know that if you want to stay in Balchik you must choose a hotel close to the port!||I knew that i will have issues with parking place but lucky for me i got a place right in front of the hotel. Remember, parking places are a problem here.||The hotel is brand new! The rooms are absolutely great! Big room, big bed, great mattress! Bathroom is very nice but if u're a big guy you will have some issues with the toilet. Hot water: on entry hall u will find a small switch with 3 leds! Don`t turn it off, will be no hot water!||The view from the room is absolutely awesome! You will see the port and the promenada.||We also got a 10% discount for few restaurants. ||Breakfast is very good and various.||I definitely recommend this...
