I can only speak positive about our stay at Kamelia. We rented a one-bedroom apartment for our family of four. It was equipped with everything we need - a kitchen with all appliances incl fridge, hob, microwave, kettle and all kitchenware you can possibly need, dining table & chairs and a comfortable sofa bed. Bathroom as well had all necessities. The bedroom had a large king size bed, a desk and a chair, which were quite useful as I can to work for some of the time during our stay. The rooms were very warm and we had a nice balcony where I could enjoy a cup of tea looking over the forest in front of us. The TV had a channel broadcasting directly from the cameras at the kids playground, which was quite useful. The hotel has 3 restaurants - one main restaurant where buffet breakfast is served, a BBQ and another more traditional style more of a private place. They also have room service, which was useful. Food was delicious. Breakfast had variety of options from cereals, eggs, veggies, pancakes, salami, croissants - really quite a large selection. They also offered a 30% discount at the guest house on the slopes, where we always had lunch. The hotel has a large and well equipped kids playzone, with facilities for small kids (perfect for my 2 year old), as well as for older kids, incl billiards, jaggy, etc. There is a professional animators at all times looking after the kids and entertaining with certain games and activities at certain hours. The spa area as well is very well equipped with a swimming pool where water is at 30 degrees changed daily, no chemicals are used and there is a lifeguard. There is also a jacuzzi, sauna, etc. The massages are amazing (I went every night). The place is very clean. There is a ski depot within the hotel where you can rent equipment or if you have your own you can leave it overnight. There is a piste for beginners outside the hotel with two ski tows which is very very convenient. The hotel offers daily kindergarten services which includes a ski instructor for two hours, lunch and free playtime in the indoors playground. There is also a play ground outside. The hotel is conveniently located 200m from the slopes and main ski lifts area. There is also a regular shuttle for those who are carrying equipment or with small kids. I must say that all hotel staff was very friendly, smiling, attentive, and acting very professionally. All Covid19 measures were kept, even masks were provided free of charge in open public areas. Overall our stay was excellent, relaxing and enjoyable, it was our first visit but for sure won't be the last and we are looking forward to returning again...

Not with a very good impression after our visit in March. Poor internet coverage. All kinds of household utensils, but without forks and spoons in the room. Room orders are delivered in plastic boxes, without utensils or napkins again. All the duvet covers on the beds were put back on without exception. Extremely rude staff in the lobby bar, according to which macchiato, cappuccino and latte are one and the same thing. Too small pool and spa for hotel capacity. The buffet dinner food is definitely prepared hours before it is served. Incredibly strange and wrong room charging system without any confirmation that this is definitely your room, in the end it turned out that we have to pay for the drinks of some of the other guests at the hotel without even attending these dates in the restaurant. The staff at the Spa is representative and ready to help and provide information. The rooms were warm enough and the location was good near the lifts. I'm not sure we will come again, there are many things to improve to earn 4 stars...

The good: Clean, comfortable apartments, with pull out sofas in the lounges in case you don't want to share. Great infrared sauna and jacuzzi in the relaxation suite, with an awesome masseur Really easy walking distance to the ski slopes Very helpful staff

The not so good: The food isn't great. Breakfast and dinner are self-service, which is fine. The problems are that the food in the warmers isn't particularly warm, and that the non-meaty dinner options are often lacking. Also, it can get crazy busy with kids running around unchecked - although that's probably more a criticism of the parents. There is a pool, but it's small. More for kids to splash around in than trying to do your lengths. If you're sharing, plan your showers. Each apartment seems to have its own hot water tank, so the first in can easily use all the hot water. Or use the ones in the...

We are very satisfied with the hotel, great for families with children. Food at dinner was excellent, with thematic nights (loved the Mediterranean night). Kids zone and evening animation is good. Ski kindergarten is well priced, however not perfectly organised. We appreciated the nice gift at check out. Only disadvantage- small and cool pool, not suitable for children. There is a warmer jacuzzi but kids are forbidden in SPA zone. My recommendation would be to add 2 jacuzzi near the pool and heat it extra. Nice outside sauna in the snow. Apartments big enough, with 2 bathrooms. Drinks are over-prized but typical for Pamporovo (Bulgarian beer 6-7lv). Location is good although you need to walk 7-8 mins from ski pistes- not directly there as some other hotels. We will come again for sure!

Some basic stuff ruin it all: 1. Curtains don't block the sun as in any other hotel in the world, so get ready to wake up at 7:00. 2. Dining room is heated to 35c degrees so you sweat your life out and have to *buy* water since you apparently didn't pay enough to enjoy their tap water when eating 3. Acoustics is so bad you hear every door slam in the corridor as it was in the room (or baby crying and couples have s3x) 4. Food was mediocre, nothing really tasty 5. The pool is actually an aweful pond of chlorine, smaller than an average hot tub Other than that - rooms are good and well equipped, and the spa is amazing

The rooms were large and clean, the kitchen was well stocked with a water heater, microwave, toaster etc. The food was excellent, there was a large variety of choices available. Every day there was someone at the grill who served freshly cooked meat/fish and vegetables. The spa was very nice, there is a hammam, 3 types of sauna (one with salt), a jacuzzi and a large swimming pool. The staff was very helpful and polite. Although the hotel is very close to the ski slope, they still had a free shuttle to help you with the skis. There is a small slope for begginers behind the hotel, with ski rental and a ski school.
