Whatever you do DON’T stay here. Came here for 10 nights over Christmas and New Years, arrived at the hotel and as soon as we walked in the room stunk of smoke, I went down to reception to ask about it. The receptionist was “helping” I started off explaining what was wrong to which she replied that the room is no smoking. I told her that I understand that but someone has been smoking in it and surely your cleaners must have known. All she done was shrug her shoulders to me. when I asked what is she going to do about it. I continued to stand my ground and asked to be moved, she eventually gave me the keys to another room ( after telling me there was no spaces left ) . I went into the other room and it was a huge downgrade to what we paid for so we didn’t move in the end and just spent a lot of our first night trying to air out the room, she was unhelpful and very rude. On the second to last day my girlfriend had an accident on the slope where she had to get an x-ray and go to hospital I asked if she had a wheelchair to get her to her room in the hotel all the same rude receptionist did is shrug her shoulders again.
Our heating didn’t work properly in the -14 climate so they had to give us a portable heater
The matris springs were broken so it dipped in the middle. The stove didn’t work properly so we couldn’t cook. The room itself was very dirty and dusty. The lift was broken for part of the holiday. There wasn’t enough cutlery for 2 people .There was a kids play room that kept us up till very late as they didn’t shut it. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough so it flooded the bathroom every time you took a shower. The wardrobe was broken so you had to reach to the top of the dusty wardrobe so you could pull it open. The bed frame was broke leaving sharpe edges. The floor was in need of a sweep as soon as you walked in, the fan in the bathroom made a loud crunching noise, there was grit etc everywhere. The Microwave was dirty. There were no-stop problems and it’s in need ofMajor work. The photos on the website are a con it doesn’t look like that at all.
Whatever you do....
Read moreTerrible experience there. Starting with the reservation. It was done trough booking.com, and should have been confirmed. Well i was wrong. It took several calls within 6 hours to get all things settled, as "the lady that deals with the reservations" was off. Coming to our "marvelous stay".||We were with my wife and my 2yo kid. The advertised parking, is actually non existent. You park if you find place and hope not to fall of the slope, while doing it. The room itself was with decent size and amenities, but the thing that killed us was the LACK OF HOT WATER!!!! As they said - the issues is only with you room....sure... Well, there was hot water from time to time, but as per Murphys law, not when you go to shower. Which is perfect if you are with a small children. On my leave i asked for some compensation, but they say, it is not their fault????? even though, their maintenance guy told us that he cannot fix it, as he came and saw it.||||The restaurant was obviously built after the initial construction, as it was in the basement with no windows, and the entrance door was, well like in a basement. They just added some tables to some place and called it Restaurant..The food was terrible, which couldnt be off-setted by the really friendly staff. Both breakfast and dinner were really crappy with quality of the food well sub standard. Yes, no lunch. If you want something to eat between 10 and 7, you are out of luck. You can use the extremely overpriced restaurant in the other hotel in proximity.||||The rooms facing the street are very noisy. I mean waking you up at night noisy, so if you decide to stay there, request on with a view to the other side.||||To add insult to injury, the guys are not giving any receipt and of course, the receptionist, didn`t have small bills for the change.......
Read moreI arrived at the hotel on Oct 14 as part of an organised tourist group for one night only. I had prepaid for a single room accommodation and was given the A33 on the 5th floor but it was not what I had expected and paid for: A33 has 2 extremely narrow single beds glued against each other on both walls - so narrow that I was left with the impression that these were order-made to leave as much room in-between as possible.
I went to the reception to request that I be moved in a room with a larger bed but was told by the administrator-hotel manager that the hotel does not have single rooms and instead, offers single accommodation into double rooms: an outright lie I could easily detect as the other group participant who had prepaid for a single room was given a proper single room with a double bed in it.
The longer I stayed in my room, the more I began to realise that the masonic hint behind its number was in my mind only: it was obvious that the hotel was built not by masonry masters but rather cardboard ones as I could hear the family next door as if they were in my room. And the argument that most of the hotels are built the same way does not stick with me and I believe should not be a reason for people to accept the unacceptable as some kind of a standard.
The night was a nightmare as I could not sleep much on the narrow bed which felt more like a ship bunk and constricted my movements a lot. The preheated room by the hotel staff before my arrival /despite the warmer than usual temperatures for that day of the year/ also contributed to my inability to sleep.
The only good thing which is worth mentioning was the breakfast on the next morning which was really good: it took place in the basement of the building opposite the hotel and I am not sure if it is part of the...
