Nikolai met us in the street and guided us in to their locale. A wonderful host, friendly and caring, he offered any help we needed to navigate our stay. Our room, on the third floor, was spacious and clean. A large bathroom with typical Bulgarian fixtures (still unusual for me) was spacious and clean. Our beds touted the usual Eastern European mattresses, relics from the Cold War with designs to inflict as much discomfort so as to garner secrets from us. Nothing out of the ordinary for Bulgaria, they were clean and maintained… just hard. Read moreLovely one night stay. ||Nick's mother welcomed our arrival , offering us a drink in the cosy little bar. The twin room was extremely clean and spacious, with a small balcony overlooking the outside mahana.||After a short stroll from the guesthouse, you are in Gabrovo town offering plenty of choices to eat. ||After a comfortable sleep we were served homemade cheese pastries and homemade yoghurt. My husband asked for herbal tea, it was wonderful, fresh herbs in a glass jug.||On paying our bill ,Nick asked if we were happy with our stay, as he would not accept us paying if we were unhappy with anything.- We were more than happy to pay,He even gave us a wooden fridge magnet. Read moreA wonderful place in the heart of the city!|| Very hospitable owners and a great homemade breakfast! The room was spacious and clean, and there was a sofa and two TVs. The air conditioner worked very well and the room warmed up in minutes. The first day we ate homemade banitsa with lots of butter and eggs, and the second - homemade buns with cheese and yellow cheese. There was homemade tea, yogurt and fruit on both days.||The house has a convenient parking lot. Just a few meters away is the main street with many shops and restaurants.||We recommend this place...
