I don't have enough superlatives to describe this place with. Maria, the host, is so nice! She went out of her way to do everything to make us feel welcome and happy. She was asking us every day what we wanted to eat and they would cook it. I was even on a special diet regime and she really made things so easy by giving me options. The garden is really great, especially if you come with kids and dogs. 😊 The rooms are so authentic, from how people lived 100 years ago. I love Bulgaria and am seriously considering moving there as I love the culture, people, and country. The food here was fantastic, it was a very cozy room with a beautiful view up in the mountains. The place was quiet, yet the outdoor seating area overlooking the town regularly had people from the town visiting. If you have never been to Bulgaria, be prepared to sit for long hours at a table with a variety of "mizze" or appetizers, socializing, munching, and sipping rakia (the local aperitif, kind of like grappa or brandy)...
