This hotel is absolutely stunning! Went with my son & it was our first holiday abroad. The pictures in the brochure/online don't do it justice. Did not expect the shear quality of the hotel/beach.|Firstly the hotel itself. |Were given champagne on arrival, and there were sandwiches and water in the room when we went in.|Spotless throughout. Rooms are cleaned every day & used towels replaced. The sheets were changed mid-week.|Our room overlooked the outdoor pool area, but you could still see the sea from the balcony.|The food was varied - they do an "English breakfast", but it's not the best for obvious reasons. |The snack bar is great if you want a light snack during the day - hotdogs, pizza & ready-made burgers.|The Lobby Bar was great. Very friendly staff. Having fruit juice & hot drinks available 24/7 was great.|The entertainment wasn't always to our taste, but it was good nonetheless. Katya & Vlada, the 2 "Animators" (entertainment staff) were brilliant! Full of energy and enthusiasm, and always smiling. |Now the beach.|Absolutely gorgeous! Private area for hotel guests only. Plenty of sun loungers for everyone - no need to run down first thing to grab one! The beach bar is great for both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. There are staff who regularly go round collecting cups & plates. There is a lifeguard on duty as well which is great.||Now for the not so good parts.|Didn't see 1 member of Jet2 there at all during the week but that's not the hotels fault.|Although the food was varied, it was usually lukewarm. The plates were in a "warmer" but that didn't seem to do much, and although the food was under "hot lights", by the time you got to your table, it wasn't very warm. Tjis was even in the indoor seating area. Only the hotdogs in the snack bar were warm. The pizza & burgers were cold - but this may be how they are eaten in Bulgaria.|Although there were things going on during the day, there was no information as to what it was or where (there was aquarobics every day in the outdoor pool, but other things happened elsewhere). There was also no information as to what was on each evening.|The water in the indoor pool was cold, and I mean cold! There was a sign in there saying the temperature was 26° but that was for the previous day. It was more likely to have been 2.6°, and it was no wonder that nobody seemed to use it.|There are cats wandering around the whole of the area, there a number who hang around the outdoor seating area. ||However, despite these minor "issues" that are personal, I still give it 5 stars. We had a fantastic week. So much so, we'll be returning next year!||The photos are the views from our balcony & the outdoor restaurant...
Read moreI ll give to Bilyana Beach Hotel 5 stars for the magnificent room we have, for the fabulous position on the beach and for the private beach BUT i ll give them 2, maybe 3 stars for the services …. They hold a gem in their hands but they don t know what to do with it or they don t want or… lots of little things that make a whole don t work…let’s see : the private beach - not enough sunbeds for all the guests !!!! not ok !!! do something because it is not ok to say “ free beach acces” and find no sunbeds … the food - poor cook, poor guests, same food every day with some small exceptiones, if you are not too choosy you can find something to eat but there are problems with synchronising the barbecue with guests arriving, they do omelet, fried vegetables, fried meat in front of you or later…basically instead of finding everything ready, you have to wait….and guess what, almost everybody give up and leave to find something else… Minibar - free of charge but also empty, not even a bottle of water/day Bathroom soap, shower gel….only on the first day, then, nothing Cleaning- pretty well, they have shortage of personnel, the girls do their best under the circumstances No beach bar although they mention it in description The pool and restaurant bar, regular bulgarian drinks so better drink water, snaks and fruits, NO ice cream ! Parking spots very few around the hotel Considering an overwhelming number of romanians, they don t have any Romanian TV channel, not even TVR International, so, nothing from Tokyo 2020
Beautiful welcoming, splendid sea view Junior Suite, the private beach, the staff ,the sea and the jewel Old Town Nesebar these are PRO
The rest…not a 4 star all...
Read moreWe spent about 2-week's vacation in this lovely all-inclusive resort.
--Great location right on the beach with free beach access + resort provided sunbeds that we enjoyed every momentof our vacation, short walk to pedestrian streets and about 15 mins walk to Nessebar old town.
--Spacious room with well organized shelves and drawers to arrange the personal belongings. Big flat screen TV (which almost a pity not having much time watch it), bed & pillows are very comfortable, very clean and amazing sea view from the balcony.
--Hotel staffs are very nice, front desk is very helpful and cleaning ladies on the 5th floor are lovely.
--Food is delicious with enough varieties to cater different diets such vegetarian or vegan. The seafood night and Bulgarian night are just wonderful.
--Night entertainment is good especially the Cuban night and Latin dance night are exceptional.
--No kids in the hotel at least during our stay. Not too crowded or crazy like Sunny Beach area.
Guess most people stay on the beach and swim in the sea to enjoy the sun as much as possible during the vacation but still some indoor facilities could be better such as indoor Jacuzzi is not working, sauna and steam rooms are not functioning all the time but on demand only, gym is a bit outdated and could improve/change some equipments.
All being said, Bilyana Beach Hotel is a really wonderful resort to spend a vacation and highly recommend this...
