Oh dear, where to start! ||||The buildings were generally shabby up close and the word 'hotel' should not be used in the description of these buildings.||||Reception, there is no reception, there is an office type area and on arrival each guest group much check in, they are then brought to their room and the other guests are left to wait outside until that task has been completed by the receptionist, that process is then repeated until all guests have been brought to their rooms. ||||We booked a 2 bedroom apartment but were given a studio dump with chipped press doors that were hanging off their hinges, apparently the room that we'd booked and paid for, wasn't available as it was "busted up" before we arrived (first story), then we were told that there had been a mix up on their system (second story), eventually we were told that a non-family group had been given our room (third story). We were offered 2 separate rooms at opposite ends of the complex (apparently we should have been grateful for that offer), which we decided not to accept as we were on a 'family holiday'! ||||After 2 days we got the room that we'd booked, alas, it was situated above a group of lads who liked to party after they came back from the bars (usually commenced around 5 or 6 am).||||The older receptionist was fairly nice but heavens above the younger one will never win any hospitality awards - OMG - one of the most bad mannered people you could ever have the misfortune to meet - RUDE!!!!!!!!||||Our room was never cleaned and the bins were not emptied once during our stay, we didn't have much rubbish and we are able to tidy up after ourselves, however, that's not the point. The linen wasn't changed nor did we get clean towels during our week long stay. ||||The shower doors were broken and none of us managed to have a hot shower as the hot water was minimal. ||||The pool area was ok and beds were readily available, unfortunately, the pool-side toilet was in the receptionists office and that had a sign that said 'do not enter if wet'! It's not always open either.||||We arrived quite late and asked what time the food area and bar closed - rude receptonist did not have such knowlege apparantely! I would have thought that should have been basic information provided on day 1!||||Would I recommend this place and would I stay there again - a most resounding NO would...
Read moreI stayed here in July 2017 for two weeks. I arrived late at night and was met by the lady who is in charge. She is Bulgarian and very helful but her English, like my Bulgarian is not great. There are two young girls in reception who speak excellent English, as does the friendly girl in the shop - so language shouldn't be an issue. The 'hotel' tag is a bit over the top. This is a very good apartment complex. There is a small shop which stocks anything you might require at the same price as nearby supermarkets. It is open early to late but not 24 hrs. The one bed apartment was spotless and spacious and faced the river so there appeared a degree of privacy and quiet. The various blocks circled the two pools and each block had lift access. Airconditioning only worked in the bedroom but this was adequate . An engineer did come to fix the unit in the sitting room/kitchen but was unsuccessful. The basic equipment for breakfast or drinks was provided along with a kettle, large saucepan and mini two ring cooker. There is also a fast food take away which is great value but not pushed. I found the food very good but didn't see it get much use. This lady also speaks excellent english. Cleaners came in daily for a quick tidy up. Beds were changed midweek and towels every other day. There was a washing machine I didn't use and a clothes horse on the balcony. The apartments are a short walk to the beach and to many other shops, bars and restaurants nearby. There is a bus going in the direction either of Sunny Beach or Nessebar and the stop is close by on the main road. The price is reasonable and they are usually quite packed!. There is a beautiful lake off the beaten track - ask how to access it. it is probably to the back of the apartments but the road is very busy and care has to be taken! The road beside Zorra hotel which is considered busy hasn't a patch on the road I crossed. I checked out many places but this apartment complex and location was...
Read moreWe have booked two apartments together with my family and friends. The 2 bedroom apartment was nice, great view from the balcony to the pool. The other one , the studio had the garbage left there from previous tourists, no towels, and no bedsheets for one bed. Wifi is not working, only at the pool. These wouldn't have been such great issues, the main problem was the receptionist's attitude, you felt you are not wanted or welcomed there. She spoke a little bit of English, some words, the rest Bulgarian, so you couldn't really understand. There was a big parking place inside, we asked if we could park there. She said only one car from the two, than she denied, started raising her voice and saying no car, no car. We bagged her for a parking place, but gave no explanations where to turn or ask or pay, just yelling at us. It has been a very unpleasant experience from the start. It got worse when one of our cars has been damaged by tiefs. The bulgarian police doesn't help you, one of the police man had his own car service, told us to go there. We were told that on the same week already 40 other cars have been damaged. We had no idea that was such a dangerous area, Our vacation turned into a nightmare, with a small child and no car to return home :(((. They could have warned us at least to be attentive where we park the car, as this issues have been happening...
