Hotel Trend — Hotel in Nesebar

We were staying nearby, and wanted to eat some grill. Passed the terrace of this place a couple of nights before and chose it this time. From the get go, it looked cheap and a little unkempt, although it had it's beauty. We were glad the menus outside were in English, however none of the staff spoke an ounce of it. It was hard communicating since there were some issues with the menu and we didn't understand what the staff was saying. The food came very fast (maybe too fast for one course?). However, I have never tasted a poorer kebache in my life, being to different parts of Bulgaria and Serbia before. We had the mixed grill, of which I would only ever eat again the meatballs, and separate kebache with fries coupled with a jug of white wine, none of which I would recommend. Nothing fancy, however nothing seemed that "it" was even trying to say "hey, we're actually good, despite everything else". The place seems like it's time locked somewhere in the early 90's Eastern/Balkan Europe, and wants to stay there. At the end, we skipped desert and asked for the check 3 times before we were able to leave. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat here, given that it's in a VERY active area in the season and there are plenty of other restaurants within tens or a couple hundred meters. From the moment I arrived, everything about Hotel Trend exceeded my expectations. The rooms were not only spotless but also incredibly spacious and comfortable — a true haven after a long day.

But what truly blew me away was the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Service was fast, and the staff were impressively knowledgeable and attentive — they made the whole dining experience feel special.
