Guest House Dobi — Hotel in Primorsko

The host was completely rude and incompetent. We arrived late at 22:00 after a long journey and we parked our car in the only free parking place in front of the hotel (the property was advertised as "Parking available, reservation not needed"). The host came out and said "Who are you, you cannot park here", we explained that we are guests and have a booking but the answer was "So what, this place is busy, go park somewhere else". We explained that we expected a parking to be available as advertised, but the host just said "if you do not like it, go stay somewhere else"... Really? In that hour to just send away your customers... Despicable! Additionally he told us that there is no point to stay in the hotel, as he "sense we do not like it" and furthermore that " he doesn't like guests like us, staying for 2 nights only". We agreed to look for a parking ourselves and he "did us the favor" to give us the room but only if we pay everything in advance (which we did, of course). During the whole time the host was making us feel like we are trespassers and not guest, we didn't feel welcome or wanted at all. If you do not want to experience the same absolute lack of service and uncertainty about your "booked hotel reservation", better choose another place...

Terrible service. Here is how the owner welcomed us when we arrived at 22:00 after 4h car trip(and we had booked and confirmed reservation):

Owner: who are you! You can’t park here!

Me: we have reservation in the hotel...

Owner: doesn’t matter. Take you language and find somewhere else to park.

Me: but in our reservation and in our ad is written “free parking on site without need for reservation”.

Owner: even if you have reservation, you must find somewhere else, not here.

Me: ok (sight), not a problem, let’s check-in.

Owner: no, there is no point, I see that you don’t like it here. Go away! Me: but it is in the middle of the night and we have been driving for hours. How we are supposed to find NOW another place. No, no , please, let us check-in. Owner: No, there is no point for me.

My wife: but, please, there is no problem, let us check-in.

Owner: come! Ok, I will make a compromise, but I do not like people like you anyway, you come for only two nights....

Me and my wife continued...

The place is new and very well equipped.It's situated on a quiet street, many restaurants with great food and great prices, supermarket and shops arround.The two main beaches are in a walking distance, only 2-3 min to the Nort beach, and a few more minutes to the South beach.Every room has an AC, new furniture and balcony. Common laundry room is available for all guests, a common indoor and outdoor kitchen and dining area also.The owners are friendly and very helpful.The cleaning staff could do a better job, but generaly it was ok.The wi-fi signal was weak and kept disconecting and reconecting 5-6 times...
