where to start? first impression of Bulgaria and hotel, its a beautiful country and the hotel looked very impressive and inviting.upon arrival the taxi driver was very friendly and informative and we were suitably impressed,however went to check in and it stopped there! we approached reception and was met with a very muted welcome.They appeared not to speak English and looked less than happy to greet us,in fact the man who was supposed to check us in just walked off for no apparent reason!! the woman with him wasn't much better and didn't seem to want to tell us any information about the hotel etc.i asked her a question after being there two days and she understood completely and answered in good English!! this was the general attitude of the rest of the staff.Even asking for a drink seemed hard work! In general it seems the hotel isn't set up for English guests .There is also a total lack of information about the local area ,we had to find out everything for ourselves through the internet,which is a shame because we would have done a lot more there if we had known.now for the food .it was the usual 2 star sort of food certainly not 5 star .they serve it in big trays under lights not hotplates ,so unless you were lucky it was stone cold!! we ended up eating out its cheap enough and the food is warm! The room was spacious and adequate and was given a quick clean everyday albeit usually late afternoon early eve when you was just returning to get ready for dinner .but i think its just how ours come on the rota .usual sunbed at dawn race (was told 150 beds- 1000 room hotel) couldn't be bothered to get up at 6, we were on holiday. although annoying when your sat on a towel next to a sunbed with towels/inflatables on it and no one using them for 3 hours!! beach was really nice and only a 5 min walk again hotel sunbeds towelled up but at only 5 lev(£2.50) to hire for a day not bad.In conclusion Bulgaria /primosko is a beutifull place but hotel pormosko del sol is definitely not 5 star more like 2/3 and i would not recommend it if your...

Everything was ok . To be honest i expected more from a 5-star hotel. The room is ok, but nothing luxury. It has some flaws like leaking bath cabin, no additional pillows or blankets, no wardrobe to store your clothes, but we lived with that, no biggy. The food was the same every day but there was planty, can't complain. We got the basics: spagetti, meat, veggies and chocolate ;) but there was no melon nor watermelon which really made me sad. What is a summer vacation but a place where someone else cuts and cleans the watermelon for you! The pool! Well big, clean, with plenty room around so you don't have to fight for a good place. The animation! I personally loved it! The children needed some time toget over their shyness but then they danced, played, even did some water gymnastics! The people were smily, calm, a little goofy (the way the chilren like it) and fun :) They even worked on their day off which allowed me to packe and get ready to leave on our last day. Thank you! The location. To be honest, we stayed around the pool all day and went for a walk after dinner. Primosko is small enough to be able to reach the center in 5-10 min from anywhere, and the north beach is less than 5 min walk from the hotel, so i'd say the location is perfect! My biggest problem were the people, the tourists. The crowed of screaming fat ladies with plates filled like they've been starving for a week before arriving, The plates left with 4-5 pieces of cake to be thrown away when there is no cake for me left.
