Thermal Spa Hotel "Roman Bathhouse" — Hotel in Razlog

The hotel it self is ok and serves the perpouse very well having in mind that it uses thermal resources. The spa offers variety of contents and everything is well done. There are two pools with thermal water and one big jacuzzi.Everything is well maintained and very thoughtful organized and connected with warm connections. But have in mind that it is crowded even on working days. We had an apartment and the space is enough. The problem is the extra bed that they offer for the child. It is a sofa that transforms into bed but I would like to see the one that offers this as an extra bed to sleep on it. We didn’t use it and I suggest that they don’t offer it at all. It doesn’t complement with other services that they offer. Another thing that doesn’t go well with good content and good service in the spa is the personal at the restorant. Maybe we just got bad luck, but let me just say that the waitresses are the few people that you contact during the stay and they affect your stay and impressions of the place for sure. Our waitresses seemed like they didn’t know the first thing about guests, or being polite or even just being proffesional. Maybe it was incidental but bad enough to ruin good impressions.||The food it self is good value for the money. Bij aankomst is het een prachtig gezicht. Keurig onderhouden en mooie details. Prachtig gelegen tegen de bergen, je kunt ze echt aanraken. Slaapkamers in dezelfde stijl die aan een spa doet denken. Uitzicht vind ik fenomenaal. Buitenbad is s'avonds prachtig verlicht en te gebruiken tot laat in de avond. Erg geschikt voor jonge gezinnen. Alles is keurig afgemaakt met mooi hout. Je kunt zo van het bad door het hotel naar je kamer toe. De vloer is hier voor gemaakt. Men is al aan het uitbreiden en ook dat zal vast vol komen hier. Heerlijk zwemwater wat erg goed wordt schoongehouden. Er is een apart badje voor baby's om in te spartelen.||||De badkamer heeft alleen een hemeldouche zonder afscheiding van toilet die dus ook nat word. Onhandig voor iemand die er daarna gebruik van wil maken, die moet een handdoek op de vloer leggen of natte kleding krijgen. Ook is er geen handdouche wat voor sommige mensen wel noodzakelijk is. Toilet papier ook even onder de handdoek laten anders heb je papier maché. ||||Het inbegrepen ontbijt is niet wat ik zou verwachten. 0820h zijn de eieren al koud omdat er geen warmhoudplaat is en wat mij verbaast is dat er geen koffie is inbegrepen. Moet je kopen en dus betaalt je uiteindelijk toch voor je ontbijt want de koffie is gewoon duur. Iets verder in het dorp kun je een heerlijk warme omelet mét koffie kopen voor dezelfde prijs. Dat is niet leuk en doet in mijn ogen afbreuk aan dit geheel. Heb nu een potje Nescafé oploskoffie en heet water op de kamer en neem lunch in het dorp.||||En met dit ochtendhumeur zeg ik ook dat het personeel blijkbaar als bewakers dienen want ze zitten met drie man tegelijk frontaal voor de ingang van de ontbijtruimte te roken. Vraag je om bijvullen thee zegt men ja we komen eraan, kamernummer twee vraagt ook om thee, en ook hier netjes ja hoor we komen direct, kamernummer drie vraagt ook thee bij te vullen en die krijgt te horen van sorry wij zijn aan het roken. Zegt u het maar, maar dit hoort niet denk ik. ||||U dacht dat dit erg was? Men heeft ook een poolmaster die om 12:00h zei dat die 5 halve liters bier wel wat lastig was zo in de zon. Ronduit schandalig en er was dan ook een jongetje die zijn hoofd had gestoten en een gat in zijn hoofd had. Huilen en moeder vragen om hulp maar hij bleef rustig zitten kijken terwijl er eindelijk iemand anders een arts belde. Ik heb begrepen dat hij alleen voor het water was. Dat doet hij goed dus neem er nog maar een zou ik zeggen. Naar mijn idee gaat deze zaak niet te lang meer mee of men moet nog in die fake resecties op de site van hunzelf geloven. Geen enkele heeft iets op of aan te merken en dat is wel erg verdacht. ||||Geen airco aanwezig maar het koelt hier gelukkig snel en dus raam open. Daar zou dan wel een hor voor kunnen om duidelijke reden. Het lijkt veel commentaar maar dit is van twee nachtjes en ik zou er nooit meer terug komen. Liever een hotel in het dorp. Wat we dus ook gedaan hebben. We wilden 7 nachten blijven maar na drie nachten gauw naar een andere appartement voor 20€ IPV 60€. Weer rust en koffie bij ontbijt…….en 40€ !!! goedkoper per nacht||||Gelukkig is er in het mooie dorp geweldig goede restaurants op tien minuten lopen voor erg weinig geld en hoeven we hier niet de hoofdprijs te betalen met personeel dat liever rookt in volle zicht van een ieder dan je te bedienen. Nee, niet meer voor mij hier. Mooie buitenkant maar er zou meer aan de gasten gedacht moeten worden. Voor een "belevenis" zou ik dit niet aanraden. Sorry.||||Kleine vreemde dingen op de kamer. Schakelaar op vreemde plaats, lampjes die te hoog hangen om bij de schakelaar te komen, stopcontacten die of te hoog of te laag zitten of net achter de bank. Onlogisch allemaal. Tweepersoons bed waar degene die bij de wand ligt over zijn partner heen moet en over de bank moet klimmen om naar het toilet te kunnen. ||En als topper…..Door de week is men met de uitbouw bezig en is het gedaan met de rust om 0900h. Binnen en buiten herrie nu en dit is voorlopig nog niet klaar. Blijkt later dat er maar twee kamers bezet zijn na het weekend en ik zou dan aan de andere kant van het hotel gezet willen zijn in plaats van direct tegen de bouwlocatie. Nee ik kom...
