Villa Victoria - thermal spa hotel in Banya — Hotel in Razlog

Its 5 ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ as a pool.

We go to Villa Victoria just for the hot thermal waters. It's easy to park, 20 leva for the pool, and it opens to approx 10pm unlike Izgreva that opens till 8pm. I normally go in the evening as its an outside pool and you can see the stars at night. Also not often children in the evenings.

You can get drinks in the bar before you change into your swim wear and as you walk out past the pool put them next to the edge if the pool where you are going to sit (there is a underwater bench you can relax on, on one side of the pool, the sude nearest the hotel), there is sadly no bar service when in the pool so if you want another drink you have to go past reception then into the restaurant to get a drink.

The drink prices are reasonable and there is a cafe / restaurant there but I've never eaten there. I think one of the bar men puts on what ever music he is into and its lousy music to relax and eat too, it's sort of ok when in the pool but for sure the hotel management does not have a cool music policy nor thinks music is important for customers, so it's often load club music 🤣 try eating to that! Lol

The staff are not naturally friendly or helpful but standard for this country, a slightly sullen way of customer service. But it's ok.

So nice pool, nicely designed, get drinks before you get in, watch the stars & chill out (subject to music) then eat elsewhere. There is also a super hot bath in one if the corners, its nice but 5 - 10 mins in that is an experience but is enough, then back in yhe main pool but definitely...

Me, my family and some friends visited the hotel a couple of days after New Years evening just to use the pool with mineral water for an hour or two. At the first look the hotel looked nice and we already started planing our next stay to be there. After we entered the outdoor pool we were badly surprised. The water in the outdoor pool was disgusting, lots hair and other things with unknown origin and dirt were floating all around. I have never been in a place as dirty as this! I wanted just escape this misery and to take a shower. But in the showers came no hot water for more than 15 minutes. I called the reception and they told me to wait a bit more. I was waiting with the wet swimsuit. Then I called the receptionist again and told them I will wait for them to fix the problem. As the employee came she told me super rude that there is no problem at all. So, for me, my family and friends this place is a no go! I hope we haven't contracted an infection after our stay in this...

The pool is nice and relaxing. The ambiance is ok. The restaurant however is what I have a problem with. I have been here multiple times over the last 12 months and have been disappointed by the food almost every time. Once I ordered the pork knuckle and they served it to me still frozen on the inside. But today was the experience that is making me write this review. I ordered the chicken julienne, as did my friend, the plate that he got had nice pieces of tender chicken, however the plate that I got was so ridiculously bad, it is as though the chef was cutting off the pieces of cartilage and fat that was meant to be thrown out, and instead put it all in my plate. In my plate, which was much smaller than my friend's, not a single piece of chicken was what you would consider edible. Every last piece, all disgusting. I can't believe they would serve such a thing to a customer. They really should fire the chef as he has little to no respect for the...
