Hotel City Sandanski — Hotel in Sandanski

Stayed for one night with my parents and I, and it was okay. Since it was an unplanned stay, we had a basic room with 1 king sized bed and one single. There was a couch and a desk in the room too which was just fine. Not much storage space. Air conditioner works properly and is nice. Receptionist lady was very kind and communicative. Bathroom... is where most of my issues are with. The bathroom is quite small, which by itself I don't mind, but the door, both from the inside of the bathroom and the outside of it, is a full length mirror. Which in turn means you get to watch yourself do your business and bathe, if it's a cold shower, otherwise it fogs up. This part bothered be so much!!!!!!!! I hated the fact that i had to stare at myself while using the toilet, and its not like i can really look away cause it was RIGHT INFRONT OF ME!!!! And huge at that! No racks or handles or anything I could've used to cover it up either... Shower itself was very nice, water was soft and very warm and relaxing. But anoyher issue is that bathroom is barely soundproof. You might as well keep the door open cause literally everything can be heard. Everything.... So be sure to get maybe a more... comfortable room than what we did. If it...

Very good hotel. Brand new, very clean, the beds are very comfy, small suggestions for the hotel - to add more types of pilows - smaller and softer, as the current ones are suitable only for sided sleep and there were some complaints from the group I was with, for me it was perfect as on back sleep I dont use a pillow, only when I turn to the side. Also you can add small lamps near the beds for those that are afraid of dark or dont want to go near the door to turn the lights off... It was all wonderful. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, when I asked where can I buy cigarettes they offered to share me from their private ones. The kitchen was very good, food very tasty and quick.. we were like 30 people and they managed to give warm food for all of us without much waiting. Toilets are super clean and although its all brand newly renovated/build there is no excessive smell. I would only suggest to replace the aroma smell with something more natural and harmless neutral like lavender, citrus.. as the current one is a bit hard to take for the breathing sensitives. We were very positively surprised from the hotel and honesty its more like 4 stars not 3....

Talked on the phone with them to see if, for an extra charge, we could bring a dog. They confirmed to me and another person from our gang that they will make an exception as the dog is a small one (booked 6 rooms). We get there to sleep over the night and be on our way next morning. No dog accepted untill we paid 20€ to the first lady on the shift and then the second one camed and said that the manager accepted but the owner does not. Another 10€. Also the "hotel" has a factory at the back of the lobby and at 7:30 they start operating the heavy...
