Art Hotel Sozopol — Hotel in Sozopol

Wonderful location. Great view towards the sea and town if you take a sea view room.

Rooms are small. Beds are definitely small for two people - about 140 sm double bed. Bathroom is obviously cheep and doesn't have normal shower - only hand shower which is uncomfortable.

Some of the pictures which I have published are from a studio - the biggest and most expensive. Then there is a photo of an ordinary double room.

Service is good though personnel needs some uniforms and better look.

It is expensive in comparison to regular prices in Sozopol. Kitchen needs a lot of improvement.

I was moved into a room on the first floor - it was impossible to sleep. Exactly 4 air conditioners are situated above this room and they are noisy, vibrations are strong, just a nightmare.

Overall - think twice if you book in this hotel and choose your room smartly. Some of the rooms are also above the restaurant - noise all day and in evening as well. In general - my opinion is not very good for this hotel - too many problems for a high price.

Only location is...

We waited for more than an hour for food that was mediocre at best. The waitress quite literally laughed at us while explaining that she is "very sorry for the delay". For prices of around 20 lev (10 euro) you get a dish with one plain fish inside (nothing, no lemon, not a couple of veggies or salad). The waitress refused to collect the check and give us our change for around 20 minutes and in the end one of us went to her and gave it to her. - They do not provide a valid cash receipt (if you read the small text on the bottom of your "check" it says - 'please ask for cash recepipt', so you have to ask otherwise they can avoid taxes by not declaring the food you have eaten.

Yes, the view is amazing, but I would never return to this...

The welcoming in the restaurant was very warm. Undoubtedly, this is the restaurant with the best view. The portions are not large but I think this is fair considering the prices comparing to other restaurants in the area. I guess the waiter was newly hired because he didn't know the menu, couldn't explain the salad; he was asked from my friend if there is sauce on the ribs or if it is served aside and apparently it wasn't as explained by him.
