Hotel Kandrovi — Hotel in Sozopol

Exceptionally deceiving and unprofessional behavior. We had a confirmed reservation for about 2 weeks before our arrival (double confirmed 2 times via phone that we are going to arrive during the night). When we got there - the hotel manager explained that she gave our room 20 minutes before our arrival (she never tried to call me for the reservation) - forcing our group to search for another hotel in the middle of the night! We have been lucky and after the initial shock and a few hours of search we have found a way much better hotel. I would never visit this hotel again, just beware as this may happen...

The hotel is centrally located. However, this also means worrying about parking. However, a place was found for our car always. The beach and the promenade are only few meters away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, but the bed linen was not changed within a week. The bathroom is simple and we have found mold.The Breakfast is not varied, but on demand you can get other foods.Sozopol itself is a wonderful resort with several beaches and promenades. Cleanliness - great! Close to the main shopping/tourist street - great (less than a minute away)! Close to the beach - great (less than 2 minutes away)! Staff - polite and helpful at all times. Room - nothing fancy but AC present, TV, double mattress and a renovated bathroom! Balcony - yes, no view but with a comfy table with 2 chairs! Parking lot - yes, but very small. However, the hotel staff had places reserved for us so we were able to park.
