The apartments in this complex are private property of mostly Russians, with creates very complicated relationships with the hotel management. Some seem to have full maintnance contracts, some cleaning only, and it seems to make a difference depending on how you booked. As a customer, you have no way to know all that, of course. ||Nice location, if you like spending the day at the beach only. However, this is one of three huge hotels next to each other, built without any thought about infrastructure. Cars are parked on the impossibly small street and it is quite an adventure to drive between them or to walk for that matter. The apartments are spacious and clean, though it is obvious that the bathrooms could be renovated and maintained better. If you face the swimmingpool side, you will enjoy the noizy animation of the nextdoor hotel all day long, as well as the occasional weddings held at the restaurant. if you are facing the street, you will have the smell of the all-inclusive bar-and grill of the other hotel at about 10 meter from you balcony for free. if you are facing the parking, you will hear each and every car driving all day and all night long, and the loud music a beach reastaurant which seems to come to life at about midnight. the beach is fine, though you have to pay for umbrellas and chairs. the staff is working very hard to keep clean, but the management is inconsiderate, not to say rude. two times there is no water, and the electricity fell out for about 15 minutes one evening. ||The kitchen is very minimalistically equiped, with cheap and partly broken pots and pans, no cofffie-maker, no toaster, not even a salad bowl. ||The so called restaurant is a joke, because it is more of a beach bistro. This is a problem, of you do not own a car to go to the many little restaurants in Tsarevo. ||There is a fitness center with at least one of the machines out of order, we did not dare try the rest. The spa center is empty and actually good, but has to be paid extra. ||Although we did not really have a bad time, I would not recommend the hotel to...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel with my daughter and my parents between 30th July and 4th August, 2017. We had booked two double rooms. Unfortunately, while I loved the location (near the beach and within walking distance from Tsarevo which is a charming, historic town), the hotel was new but overall very, very overpriced and did not live up even to my low expectations. We had two meals (breakfast and dinner) included every day. The menu for these prepaid meals, however, was incredibly limited and with only a few options for dinner. There was no variety. Moreover, the wifi connection was not good. Our rooms were located on the 4th floor and the signal was poor. Yet, I enjoyed our stay but the worst of all was that just as we were leaving, I discovered that a few items were missing, among which my daughter's brand new t-shirt and my favourite pair Swarowski earrings. There was no secure place or safe box available in the room to safeguard valuables. I knew that someone from the staff had to clean the room, so I decided to trust them even though I found the lack of a safe box strange. I travel a lot and in every single hotel there has been a 'safe place'/ safe box available. Alas, not this time. When we left and I discovered that our things were missing, I went back to the room and searched frantically. Alas, to no avail. We were in a hurry, so we had to check out and leave. I decided my earrings must be somewhere in the pockets of my suitcase but when we got back home, I did not find them. The only conclusion was that they had disappeared (probably stolen) while we were at the hotel. I would strongly recommend to any potential guests - do not bring any valuables with you or choose...
Read moreThere is no restaurant in the hotel, breakfasts are served in another hotel which is half kilometer from Regina Mare. No central hot water, each of the rooms has a boiler adjusted by the hotel staff so boiler never gets hot fully. Reception doesn't work in the evenings and during night, bear this in mind planning late check-in. In general, staff is friendly, apart from blond lady at reception. If she hates her job and hotel guests that much, probably she shouldn't work with people. If you want your question to be resolved just find someone else to help you. However, the hotel has very good location and there's an amazing beach right in front on the hotel. You'll need to pay additionally for the sunbeds and umbrellas, but the beach itself is so great that it's definitely...
