Hotel Flirt — Hotel in Varna

We did not live at the hotel, but we were unfortunate enough to stop at their outdoor restaurant the day World Cup final game was to be played. There were 3 screens there and it was located close to our hotel. The music was playing loudly and we asked the waiter if they would turn off the music when the game begins. “Yes, yes, yes!” We placed our order, the salad and the drinks came rather quickly and were looking forward to enjoying the evening. To our abd ither customers surprise the music was not turned off when the opening ceremony began! We told the waiter politely that we would like to watch the game. “The music will not be playing only inside, but inside all table are already taken!” Together with other customers we ate quickly the food (which was eatable but that was all) and left the place. ||||The place that doesn’t care about the customers?!?! The bathroom is the main downsize, as you can see in the pictures: it is very very small, no ventilator, no window, small sink, you shower directly on the toilet, terrible experience. The rooms are noisy, you can hear your neighbours walking above you or talking, the doors and windows are old wood which creaks, just like the floors. There is also noise and music from the restaurant. The restaurant looks nice, but is pricey for food that is not worth it. Terrible soup and dishes that look fancy, but are made from rudimentary and cheap ingredients, then sold for a high price. Parking is on the sidewalk, on the road, next to the guest house, hardly a private parking. The rooms are clean and spacious, the garden is really beautiful and taken care of with some sitting areas. I was disappointed to read a review by someone who visited Flirt during the World Cup and complained about the music not being turned down. We spent a number of evenings there during the World Cup and thoroughly enjoyed the Restaurant, food, music and of course the football games! Yes music was playing when games were on but it really didn’t matter and in fact added to the atmosphere as we were out for the evening having fun and enjoying ourselves. The staff were amongst the nicest people I have ever met. The food was wonderful and my only regret is that we weren’t actually staying at the hotel itself.
