The Marina Hotel Sunny Days is located in the center of St. Constantine and Hellena. It is surrounded by a park, clean and well maintained and situated right on the beach, at the Black Sea and it is an all inclusive resort.||This May we, a group of 14 people, had rooms with sea view, and it was something unique to hear the sea wispering in the night. ||It is a quiet hotel even if there are diffrent events in the weekends, we have never heard the noise.||This September will be the third holiday here and we are coming to the thermal waters. The water it is about 40 degrees at the outside pool and about 26 degrees at the inside pool and there is a spervisor watching people all the time, as the pool is deep 2m.||The hotel was at that time (in May) in the renovation, floor by floor, not to desturb people and will soon be finished, as I understood from the manager, Mr Yordan, who is a young person with a high degree of professionalism, always attentive to the smallest details, talking with tourists, allways smiling and greeting everibody.||Your car is safe in a special parking place and all hotel complex it is secured.||There are tennis courts and inside tennis tables, and some young entertainters inviting people to easy outdoor exercises and sports.||The rooms are very clean and the staff are cleaning every day and chainging towels upon request. As I know, all the rooms have balconies with views of the park or sea view, for some amount. The bathrooms are very functional and clean and provided with towels, bath robes, soap and shower gel and anyway, I do not intend to buy the hotel, just to feel good, safe, decent and stay in good health.||I have to say, that the food is very diverse, tasteful, planty and never ever happened digestive problems to anybody. The drinks are local, but good.||There is also a shutle bus which brings you to a small bazar, where you may buy diffrent things from locals.||All over, I love this place and can not wait to be there soon, again.||One week...
Read moreWe were here a year ago and had a great time, so we decided to come back and bring friends this summer.
Air Conditioner - We were a total of nine rooms. Only one room had a properly working AC. No AC was fixed by the end of our stay.
Dripping sealing - Rooms had multiple issues including leaking ceilings in the bathrooms. The smell coming down was like sewage, a very swamped smell. We informed the front desk immediately, no action was taken during the week of our stay other than buffing down the smell daily. The sealing looks like I have been having this issue for a while.
Cleaning - the staff kept the rooms pretty clean although they are run down and need deep refreshing.
Food - nothing compared to my previous visit. Very limited menus every day. The variety was half of the previous visit. Last year they had pasta station where they combined the pasta with sauce in front of you, no more of that. No pizzas. Chicken was present in every meal in a different form. Seafood one dinner meal only and mainly processed calamari, fish fingers.
Desert station - very limited. I was surprised to see a shortage of watermelon and melons. Even when we asked for more we were informed that there would be no more for that service. Next meal service as we were serving ourselves, two big plates with watermelon were brought to our table from the restaurant manager in order not to run out again. This was a very sad experience, all inclusive with a shortage of watermelon in Bulgaria.
The drinks - good selection, however everything was warm with huge shortage of ice. No ice? Come on! Another sad experience.
Service - overall good. They are trying and making a magic with what they have. The manager Mr.Stoianov were no were to be found after our first night. It is convenient when I assume he is aware with all the issues that the hotel is struggling with.
It was disappointing to see this hotel with beautiful beach to be left out of maintenance. Definitely not coming back until there are...
Read moreOn a positive note, the hotel is right next to the beach, and wonderful views from the room. Food is decent although not great. Some leftovers from lunch are served at dinner. The manager was very friendly and seemed professional. However the inside of the room looks like it was last decorated 15 years ago. Everything is very old and does not look at all like a 4 star place. We took the apartament which was the most expensive one available and it was really tiny. Stains on the carpet, TV hardly working, bathroom in terrible condition and so small that you cannot even stand in front of the sink because the shower is in the way. The worst part was the air conditioning. At 35°+ outside, AC is kind of a big deal and ours was barely there. It could not cool the room at all and we were sweating all the time and could not even sleep. The bedroom did not even have AC in it, although I specifically asked about AC when making the booking. We spoke with reception twice about this. We were told that there is nothing that can be done as the air conditioning is central so it cannot be adjusted. I spoke to the manager and he brought an electric fan but all that did was move the air around. Overall we wished we never came to this place. Ended up spending a lot of money for what felt like a 2...
