We traveled as a family and had a lovely time I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had rooms on the ground floor so never needed to use the lift, the maids were always around and did a really good job in keeping our rooms spotless.. along the hall way they left trolleys with toilet rolls towels etc that could have been needed when they had gone home, I thought this was a good idea. ||The hotel itself was very clean and organised. The staff (apart from one) were always helpful and although didn't speak a lot of English were able to help in any situation.||I have to say the one thing that did spoil the trip as others have said was the young barmaid.... she was embarrassingly bad mannered rude and quite nasty to people, i could understand if people were drunk or nasty or being disrespectful to the hotel or other guests.... but no it was her way and it was not a nice way to be. I witnessed on several occasions her shouting at people (from many different countries) also swearing in front of children, just not a nice person. Being only one bar you could not avoid her. Well enough said. The pool guy wasnt very attentive either I told them someone had dropped a pizza down the stairs and some one was going to slip I asked if he had something to clean it with... he waved his hand at me..... 2 hours later still there so i cleaned it up myself...||The rest of the staff from Boris the taxi man to the lovely receptionist were all really good no matter what country you came from.||This is a very mixed hotel with people coming from many different countries, it was amazing to see all the children play happily together even though they couldnt speak the same language. This is a good family hotel at at 10pm the drink stop and the hotel is lovely and quite. Its definitely not a party hotel but the entertainment we had a few nights a week was really good, they have a man playing an organ and singing its so nice and relaxing.||The beach also is very nice it is quite a hike... we took our 85 year old dad who managed the walk every day took his time and it was ok, maybe depends on your level of fitness, i dont think for anyone who needs help getting around it would be suitable.||We walked down to the main beach to golden sands, phew it was loud and a real party atmosphere if thats what you wanted, too much for us we couldnt wait to get back to the quite of Kinni Park. The walk there and back again is steep and hard uneven ground so again not for those needing assistance, taxis are always available.||The pool was nice but if im honest around the sides were very dirty. you could always get a sun lounger, mats and towels are available as well.||The food was really good and varied.. breakfast was always the same..never any bacon or fried eggs, but always lots of meats cheeses and breads, lovely coffee too. Lunch was soups breads pasta dishes fish /chicken and always a lovely selection of deserts. drinks were available to help yourself wine/beer in barrels or sorft drinks. ||Every afternoon they brought out ice creams and cakes and pastry's.||Evening meals had some great choices i think it was luck of the draw to what time you went... always chips, chicken kiev's pasta etc children's family food never saw any chops or steaks. always good desserts though.||I would recommend this hotel for families with children for a chilled...
Read moreA warm welcome. We stayed from June 24th to 28th in room 409. This room is on the top floor with a sea view.
The room was clean, as was the whole hotel.
Friendly staff. We could see that they ALL work hard every day.
The food was very good too! Lots of variety to choose from.
There were people who filled their plates and left half of the food. I don't understand the need to do that. The food is always available and the chef fills the food containers as it runs out. It's better to put a little and keep filling it up than to leave the plate practically full and then throw it away. People leave their education at home when they go on holiday. Horrible.
We had the "Mediterranean night" on Wednesday and the rice with seafood had shells from the mussels, maybe you should be more careful with that. Washing the seafood better would be ideal.
The desserts weren't very varied, they were always the same. Personally, I didn't like the mini cakes, but that's a matter of taste, as my partner and my son liked them very much. Fruit was only apples and nectarines.
A huge queue forms at breakfast for the coffee machine.
There's also a huge queue for ice cream in the afternoon.
During our stay we realized that most of the guests were Romanian. It was as if we hadn't left Romania.
The hotel has a mini park for children to play in.
We spent one whole day in the pool and the rest on the beach at the hotel further down “Riviera Beach”.
Towels are provided at the pool.
What's not so good is that everyone takes their place on the chairs in the morning and if you don't go in time, you might not get a seat.
The pool opens at 9am and closes at 6pm. This is the ideal time because the sun shades the pool at this time and it gets cold.
At the neighboring hotel's beach we paid 30BGN for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. It's a private beach, which is why we paid, but you can also go in and just stay on your towel.
The way back to the hotel was more complicated because it was uphill. As our room was on the top floor, we had to climb a lot of stairs.. four floors, because the hotel doesn't have an elevator. It was good physical exercise!..
The Hotel offers free parking.
Unfortunately, the massage service is not available and from what I understood it will not be available this year.
The television in the room is one of those old and super-small ones, so don't expect a big plasma.
The air conditioning works well!
They give you a card to open the door and the room only has electricity if you insert the card in the specially designated place. So don't leave the room and leave your cell phone charging, as it won't charge.
By the way, the electricity was cut off twice. The second time, it took longer to come back on. It seems to be a recurring problem.
Overall we enjoyed the experience and highly recommend this hotel!
I think the “less good things” were caused by the lack of education from other people. The hotel itself is great and is doing its best in every aspect.
Keep up...
Read moreWorst all in ever, reviews were mixed but Tui assured me it was clean. But let's start with a few pluses: the bar staff was the nicest in the entire hotel, good music by the pool, clean water in the pool, enough sunbeds for everyone, wi-fi in the entire facility worked very well, towels in the room were changed, the kitchen refills the line on an ongoing basis, on the day of departure we got a lunch box, close to the beach,||Now the minuses: we waited a long time for a room, they didn't want to give us a minute earlier than 2:00 p.m., (Tui's fault, they could have made a later flight), the room was supposed to have a sea view... it was for construction, we got a dusty room with hair on the sink and toilet, the smell of sewage in the room, the manager was rude -pretending to be nice with a fake smile, no bottled water in the room, not alowed to pour water in the bottles in bar and restaurant, you have to buy it, the food was very poor, monotonous, especially breakfast, no fruit for breakfast, there were only plums and apples, there was a shortage of cups every day, and when there were any, it was hard to find a clean one, old cutlery, looked dirty, damaged, the room service does not speak English, no uniforms and no one knows who the employee is, one of the service staff wore a t-shirt with the "f..k" word written on it - embarrassing, no name tags, no lemon, lime at the bar for drinks, no all-day access to pool towels, only one key to the room, which makes the stay difficult, the curtains in the room are like net curtains, they do not fulfill their role, the bar is only open until 10 pm, the pool until 6 pm, public toilets are neglected, it stinks of sewage, no air conditioning in the corridors...
