La Casa Guest House — Hotel in Varna

We stayed at the Guesthouse for a couple of nights in July whilst visiting friends in Varna.|The hotel is set out in beautiful enclosed landscaped gardens with a pool, sun loungers and an excellent Italian Restaurant where guests eat breakfast.|The hotel is about 9km to the North of the city centre and a taxi into Varna costs 5 Euro.|The rooms are clean and spacious with daily maid service.The manager speaks excellent English along with other languages as the hotel caters for a cosmopolitan clientele.|The staff are helpful and friendly and the buffet style breakfast is very good.|Guests can relax on the patio or use the pool which is kept in tip top condition.|The hotel isn't far from the beaches but I can't comment on the quality of them as we didn't have time for a visit |We ate in the evening at the restaurant and can report that the food was excellent and the locally produced wine was delicious; both the Chardonnay and Merlot.|The Guest house has a real quality feel and you'd have to pay a very large supplement for accomodation of this type in other European countries.|Car hire is available for 15...

La Casa is both a hotel and Italian Restaurant. The hotel proved to be clean and comfortable, with the rooms having a daily clean. WiFi in the rooms was excellent.|| The highlight of any visit however is the fine Italian restaurant on the ground floor. Homemade soups are perfect, and well presented. Tomato soup for example with a sprig of fresh basil and a swirl of cream on top; containing halfs of baby tomatoes and accompanied by a small jug of crutons. Probably the best you will ever taste. A wide variety main courses and don't forget the house wine made on the premises.|| The staff ars friendly and efficient. Ideally situated for Dentaprime clients (literally a 3 minute walk, down the steps immediately to the right when leaving the grounds), a further 3 minutes brings you to the main highway and bus stop for Varna.||'Tip', if you like English tea...take your own. I used booking to book here a room. At 16:00 I book a night for the same day, I received the booking confirmation but at 20:30 I received an SMS from the owner that they are fully booked.

Bad for me. Having my notifications on mute for SMS I did not see the message, I drove all the way to the property and called them to know that I can’t have the booking I did.

I reported this on booking and I hope this will not happen again for someone else.

As an advice, make sure you give them a bell before going there, just in case to do not waste...
