DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 days. The room was really outdated and covered with dust. There were several items, but we were ok with it since we only stayed for 9 a couple of nights. The last day we stayed, we had the worst nightmare ever happened to us. At approximately around 11:30 p.m., I was just laying on the bed while my boyfriend was taking a shower, right them I heard a weird/loud noise from the next store (there is a connected door to the other room) Note* we checked that the connected door was locked when we checked in. After hearing that noise, I noticed the connected door was moving after that weird noise, and then I saw a man only wearing an underwear stand right in my room. I was in shock and didn't know what to do. I screamed and asked him to go away (he was very intoxicated), but he stood there for about 45 seconds. I tried to call out to my boyfriend but unfortunately he couldn't hear because he was showering. He finally went back but still tried to push the door open. We called the front desk person, and he came right away. He asked if I locked the door, which I said I did. He said he is sorry that the lock must be broken. I was in complete shock, agry and upset with their response and how it is not safe at all to stay at this hotel. I didn't know what that guy intention to enter my room. There were so many things that could have happened, honestly. We were glad we were in the room while it happened (we have some valuable items left in the room). I tried to explain it to the front desk guys that this is not acceptable but he can there is nothing he can do and I have to wait to put in a complaint with his manager or the morning person. We ended up leaving the hotel at 12:30 am because we don't feel comfortable/safe to stay there after the incident. What a nightmare!!! I would never stay at this hotel or recommend this place to anyone. Please stay away...
Read moreHaving booked this particular hotel through booking.com I was highly disgusted to find that virtually none of the facilities that they offered but actually on site. |They stated they had an indoor pool which it doesn’t, they also said it had a pool table which it doesn’t, also in the description it said I had a fitness room which once again it doesn’t. The breakfast was awful with very little variety for European travellers. The property itself is on a main road in the middle of an industrial area with no bars or restaurants within walking distance. Talking of walking I wouldn’t recommend going out and walking anywhere as it didn’t feel at all safe.|The restaurant and bar both closed at 9:30 pm which left very little to do in the evenings as you are in the middle of nowhere. |I also slipped up injuring my ankle quite badly on the second of the third day of my stay, No warning signs were in place to inform me that the floor was wet. It was very difficult to walk for the next five days which completely inconvenience the rest of my travel. |The only saving grace for this particular hotel is it swimming pool. |I did mention to the reception staff about the facilities that were said were on offer that aren’t and they replied they will get it taken down from booking.com’s page. That was two weeks ago and the false advertising is still there ( 2/2/20) |Stay away from this particular hotel you will be extremely disappointed. I was pleased I was only there...
Read moreWhile I had high hopes for coming here it has been a very disappointing experience. It starts with having difficulty getting to the front desk because of cars parked out front including blocking the way to the front desk (a blue Rolls Royce permanently parked out front) Next, the front desk staff seem to have difficulty communicating with one another trying to take bags upstairs because there is no lift. Then when my wife arrived with her bags NO ONE would help her get them off the street where the Grab driver dumped them. So customers at the coffee shop had to help (as she's older and clearly needed help) while the guy at the front desk just sat there watching.
Now I'm having to sit in the coffee shop in front of the hotel (the walkway also blocked by the Rolls-Royce parked in the drive) bcuz there is no electricity in the hotel and they cannot figure out how to connect the hotel to the generator - so much for trying to pack for the airport departure 😞
Then, when the power came back on one light was broken which they thankfully fixed but creating another delay I will say that the owner apologized and offered to move us to another one of his hotels, but, it was too dark in the room to pack our bags to do so. Given the above we asked for a discount for this part of our stay but the owner refused In summary the only recommendation I can make is this - find somewhere...
