Aime House is a nice and comfortable apartment hotel. The rooms are quite large and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the basics were all covered including air conditioning, hot water and internet. The rooms are clean and the housekeeping is very good.||||I stayed in the room 301, a large apartment consisting of a large kitchen/dining/living room, a large separate bedroom with a king sized bed and a bathroom.||||The main area has a kitchen with cupboards, full-sized refrigerator, flat-screen tenevision and sink and countertops. There was a small table with two chairs and two recliner chairs for watching TV. There is a LOT of space in this room but it is not well appointed for relaxing, television watching or entertaining. A few more pieces of furniture such as a sofa and a coffee table would really help.||||The master bedroom is quiet and nice with ample clothes storage. The balcony opens to a confined area between buildings so there is no view of the city from this side of the apartment.||||Access to the apartment is via stairs (there does not seem to be an elevator) and the stairs are set at an aggressive pitch. I would not recommend this room for elderly or those with physical challenges because the long climb of the stairs can be taxing. However, I am sure that the lower rooms are fine.||||For me, the room was very functional and appropriately priced. It is close to many high-end as well as ethnic food options and is a block from the local grocery store.||||I recommend this hotel for the budget conscious traveler that does not need many of the high-end offerings of luxury hotels .. and did I mention that the...

On showing them the booking, the lady said: water in the bathroom (which is not drinkable in Cambodia) is free. ||There was no soap in the toilet. I was told to use shampoo instead.||Toilet was always flooded with water. So, everytime, the...
Read moreFloors in the hallway and stairs had not been mopped, or even swept in a long time. The room smelled as though an entire can of insecticide had just been released. In addition there was a foul odor coming from the shower drain. There was no accommodation for clothing, not even wall pegs to hang them on. You keep them on your bed or on the floor. The TV, air conditioning and wifi worked. The staff...
