Great Location with Disappointing Service
Being a long-time fan of Koh Sdach and a regular guest at Koh Sdach Resort by Vet, I have visited the resort three times. Initially, with friends, then with family, and subsequently recommended it to my company for our annual trip. However, on this visit, I encountered extremely poor service, making me that I will never visit there again .
Transportation issues: I can't a believe that a resort that created by a giant transportation and logistic company"Virak Buntham" has such as a bad transportation arrangement at the resort. I had to wait over an hour for the boat pickup, with no transport organized upon our group's arrival at the port. Even when dropped off at Koh Akpijun, we had to walk to the resort unassisted. Room service and hospitality fell short: The towels in my room had a very bad smell, making them unusable. When my colleague requested towels for their room, they waited over two hours for just two towels. Food quality and pricing require enhancement: Despite experiencing multiple issues, we received no compensation or acknowledgment from the resort. Even during check-out, we had to walk from Koh Sdach Vet to Koh Akpijun Port by ourselve without any apology or any compensate.
For future visitors, I recommend opting for Koh Akpijun Resort instead. They seem to offer better arrangements and superior customer service compared to Koh Sdach Resort.
It seem like the GM of Koh Sdach Resort is neglecting customer care and lacks...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this resort, which I cannot recommend. The noise levels were unbearable, making it impossible to relax or enjoy any peace and quiet. The resort seemed more suited for partygoers than for those seeking a peaceful retreat.
The constant noise, especially from the karaoke, was a major downside. It felt like there was no consideration for guests looking for a calm environment. Even during the night, the noise persisted, making it difficult to sleep.
Additionally, the overall ambiance of the resort was not pleasant. The facilities were outdated and poorly maintained. The rooms were not well-equipped, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. It felt more like a rundown hostel than a proper resort.
Furthermore, the staff's attitude was disappointing. They seemed indifferent to the noise complaints and did not make any effort to address the issue. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against staying at this resort, especially if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The noise levels and overall lack of care from the staff make it an unpleasant experience. I can only give this resort a...
Read moreTerrible Stay, Not For Quiet Seekers. We booked 7 rooms for a 2-night stay at this beachside "resort," expecting peace but got the opposite. The place was dominated by loud karaoke until 11 pm, destroying any hope for tranquility and making even simple conversations a struggle. They allowed guests to use big karaoke speakers all day, right up until late.
The air conditioners were ineffective, making our rooms stifling in the daytime. This, in a hot climate, was unbearable and unacceptable, majorly affecting our comfort and satisfaction.
Breakfast was a disappointment, scoring a low 3/10 for its poor quality and lack of variety. This summed up the overall service and maintenance issues we faced.
Calling this a resort is misleading; it's more a noisy karaoke beach with rooms. We paid a premium for peace but were greeted with noise, poor service, and underwhelming amenities.
In short, if you're after a quiet beach retreat, stay far away from this place. The nice beach does not make up for the myriad of issues. We regret to say this "resort" failed us completely and cannot recommend it to those seeking a serene experience. You will be disappointed. The manager was...
