This is a newly renovated hotel with a great location—quiet and beautiful. However, many facilities are still incomplete. Here are my thoughts:
For example, you can see the hotel's WiFi, but when you ask the staff for the password, they tell you that the WiFi is not available. Additionally, the hotel has some bizarre policies, such as not allowing children. My goodness! I have traveled to many countries and stayed in all kinds of hotels, but this is the first time I have encountered a hotel that does not accept children.
Another strange rule is that guests are not allowed to bring in food or drinks from outside. However, there are no signs or prior warnings about this. You only find out when you return from a long trip to buy food, only to be stopped by security at the entrance. This policy is truly incomprehensible in a country like Cambodia.
Anyone who has been to this hotel knows that the food options are limited and quite mediocre. There are no fresh, affordable seafood dishes either. Many tourists visit this island specifically to enjoy fresh and inexpensive seafood.
The rooms are spacious, but they do not provide a refrigerator, a safe, or even free bottled water. Surprisingly, even basic amenities like bath towels, hand towels, toilet paper, and disposable toiletries are missing.
Moreover, the beach is very dirty, with lots of trash, and no one cleans it.
So, I strongly advise families with children and those who enjoy BBQs, singing, or bringing their own food to avoid this hotel.
In 2024, I visited this island more than 20 times, and I highly recommend staying at Koh Sdach Resort. I have chosen this hotel over ten times. Although the food is average, they do not prohibit outside food. Additionally, the hotel provides free transportation to the...

Read moreI ordered two dishes and a cocktail, but since there was a team dinner upstairs and almost no seats left, we sat a little lower down in front of the swimming pool.
The first time, a male waiter brought the cocktail, but he spilled it everywhere I didn’t really mind and just asked him to bring some tissue.
The second time, he brought the two dishes to us in the rain. The food was soaked with rainwater, and instead of apologizing, he blamed us, saying why didn’t we sit upstairs since there were still one or two seats left. I asked, “Why don’t you use an umbrella to cover the food?” He directly said, “There isn’t one.” How can we eat food that’s been drenched in rain?
I took it back and asked to order again, but they just said they could reheat it. After reheating, the fries were still soggy and inedible. When I went back the second time to order new dishes, they told me the kitchen was already closed.
They also didn’t allow us to bring in outside food. The service was really bad. I know you are used to serving foreigners, but we also pay money to eat here. We are not begging you to feed us. The food is expensive, the service is terrible, and the waiter’s attitude was unacceptable. I truly hope you improve. Spending money and still feeling wronged left me very...
