Elephant Hill Resort — Hotel in Mondulkiri

I believe this is a fairly new resort. Looks like another resort was built and refurbished and owners are building more. ||All bungalows. No main building. ||One bedroom, living room and 2 bathrooms. ||Showers are rainfall, water is hot, buildings are clean. ||Restaurant right out the door but menu all Cambodian. Staff speaks English. ||Kinda hard to find. Not on google maps yet. Look for mondolkiri restaurant and keep driving.||Shame no pool. ||Little pricey but...

We stayed this hotel for 3 days. All of all it is not good memory. Everything is bad. No staff can speak English. We can not communicate with them well. For the room was also the worst experience for us. Not only dirty but also destroyed. Additionally this hotel is not cheap how can we get this service? When we have breakfast at hotel. They charge different price with menu. We confirm with them then they said”we just didn’t change price on menu”....

When you enter the resort you are greeted by a life sized statue of an elephant who stands guard over the property. The property is not close to town but the owner graciously provided transportation and went above the call of duty when we needed to be in town at 6AM. Some difficulty with language but staff managed to translate with help of google...
