Manel's guesthouse is an outstanding family run business Long before we stayed at the Guest house my contact with Manel was through Whats App and I found him to be a very caring person who had the interest of the customer at heart. At the guesthouse Manel sets the tone with his very welcoming infectious hospitable nature where nothing is too much trouble and all customers/travellers are treated equally. Let's not overlook the role of the family who provide great support and assistance in ensuring the business success through the way in which they carry out their respective roles. We had the vast majority of meals at Manel's during our time in Senmonorom as there were plenty of options of high quality food at very competitive prices. Breakfast was outstanding with a wide range of choices - don't forget to try the delicious pancakes, a signature dish of the business. Dinner was equally impressive with plentiful options of top quality dishes. Our room - the Garden Bungalow which was a super choice - was of a good size, a plentiful supply of hot water for a shower, very effective air-conditioning and scrupulously clean. A range of services are provided at the guesthouse at extremely competitive rates - motor cycle hire, bus booking and tours such as the Mondulkiri Project Elephant Sanctuary Tour he booked for us at cost price without adding commission. Thank you Manel and family for a wonderful enjoyable 3 days. We're just so happy that we had the opportunity to experience your most welcoming guesthouse and we would very strongly recommend that fellow travellers seeking brilliant hospitality and fantastic value for money take the opportunity to also enjoy what we truly cherished. Thanks so much Peter and Len Len from...
Read moreWe stayed for three nights at Manel's Guesthouse in Sen Monorom and rented a small bungalow. The bungalow has a small terrace and is very quietly situated in a beautiful green garden with some avocado trees. Every now and then, a few cats drop by. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and is simply equipped, but has air conditioning, a fan as well as a small bathroom with shower and toilet. For the price we paid, we were very satisfied with the bungalow.||If you’re hungry, Manel and his family will be happy to cook you some breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a menu with numerous dishes, including some vegetarian options, and the food is really good.||The best thing about Manel's guesthouse, however, is Manel himself. He gave us a very warm welcome, picked us up from the bus station, booked various activities for us at a very reasonable price and finally drove us back to the bus station. Manel is an extremely warm-hearted, helpful and funny host who runs his guesthouse with heart and soul. We can highly recommend...
Read moreThe reviews are to be believed! Manel and his family are all extremely lovely. Manel himself is a very good communicator (with very good English), and you can tell he loves and takes pride in his job. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Guesthouse during out stay and the food was fresh, sizeable and at a competitive price. The stay is set on the edge of the small Sen Monorom town and so benefits from some wonderful nature and quaint views throughout the gardens. The rooms are well equipped with just about everything you might need. Mosquito nets, air conditioning, clean sheets and towels, and toiletries ready for your stay. Free water refills are at the front of the property and it is only a short walk from the centre if town with convenient shops closeby. For everything from tours, motorbike rentals, and bus connections, Manel was extremely quick to organise and book these for his guests. We would visit again in...
