Absolutely loved this place. I'm glad I was able to see what it is like in the beginning, and I'm excited to go back for my next trip. The whole staff is very hospitable. I had a chance to meet Joe, the owner. He is a very well traveled guy and connected in the area with many friends. He had a barbeque for expats while I was there. It was a chance to meet great people and hang out with well seasoned travelers. Once this place has food going to it will be a true gem of Siem Reap. I always like staying a little outside of town, and it was usually about $0.75 to take a tuk tuk into town. 7-11 and ATM next door were very convenient. The place is itself is huge with very nice thick wooden doors and fixtures. I stayed in the first room you walk to on the 2nd flood. Even when he had an even outside, I couldn't hear the noise from my room at all. The bed was comfortable, the room and facilities were clean, the downstairs had very comfortable seating.
