Stayed here twice over the course of two weeks, got different rooms based on availability. Family of five had a great time here with so much good food and comfort. The resort has many amenities. The rooms are well prepared and clean with most things that you will need. Any other items you can ask the front office and they are usually willing to accommodate. There is a restaurant there with delicious food, a spa room (have to book a day in advance for additional fee), a pool table, a huge pool, a hammock area, and walking around you get to experience a comfortable jungle resort. It is removed from the downtown area. There are shops and restaurants nearby but you'll likely need a tuk tuk to get downtown for more variety; there are usually tuk tuks out front waiting or if you plan ahead, you can get the number for one of them and they can arrange to pick you up. Staying here is great if your main focus is going to see the many temples in the region. Angkor Wat is mandatory. Bayon, Prea Khan, Bantey Srey are some we saw. You can also venture out further, we recommend Beng Maelea. Absolutely recommend this resort.

The Palm Village is a unique place. The rooms are in a beautiful garden with pool, the staff is amazing and super kind, they offered us a wardrobe of robes, dresses and sandals to use during our stay. It’s in a perfect position close to the Angkor site. You can ask directly at the property for tuk tuk rides and tour guides in various languages and charge everything on the room. During our stay we were accompanied by Mr. Ry, our amazing tuk tuk driver. He brought us around the temples all day and waited for us to visit before bringing us to the next site. We were also guided all day by Mr. Sciha, which we recommend so much. We will recommend this property to all our friends.

Food was okay, room was quite pleasant. But the service was questionable. I booked a complimentary tuktuk from the airport(to the hotel) and called them 3times to make sure the booking was there. In the end no driver showed up and I called the front desk more than 10 times. Different staff answered the phone and he didn’t speak English well, he was keep saying ‘no driver, no booking’. I tried to explain I booked tuktuk from the hotel and the staff hung up several times. He refused giving his name. The tuktuk at the airport costs 9USD even though it should be around 3-4 dollars only. Such a frustrating experience.

Very nice and relaxed place to stay!

We stayed in one of the bamboo-houses, which stand on poles, so they can only be entered by using small stairs with about 6 steps. The bed is comfortable but very low to the ground. Everything inside looks a bit dated but the room was clean, but simple. The separate bathroom is at ground level, so you have to take a few steps down, inside, to enter. A/C was present and working. A fridge is provided with complimentary bottles of water. Upon arrival a plate of fresh fruit and welcome drinks are given by the staff. Staff speaks (some) English but they all are very nice and friendly. Free WiFi is available. Included breakfast, which is made to your order. The restaurant kitchen opens at 7 am (7:00) and closes at 9 pm (21:00). They have a delicious Khmer-menu, but you have to order 3 hours in advance, because some dishes need preparation time. The resort is situated in a tropical garden as is the swimming pool which is clean and very nice. This is really a wonderful and comfortable place to stay, if you don't mind simplicity and ignore that some things could use some extra attention or maintenance.

Notice that the resort is at a 25 minute tuktuk-drive from Siem Ream center (Pub-Street, depending on traffic, for about $3,-). I strongly advise you to let the resort organize a pick-up from the airport, since it's location is not easy to find...
