Dynasty Casino Hotel — Hotel in Svay Rieng

The photos and reviews here are wonderful but my experience during a visa run just recently was very, very horrible. I checked in around noon time which is kind of early but I was tired and stressed out from what I had to deal at the border so I was praying I could check in early. However, I was led to a foul-smelling room, it reeked of cigarette smell, even the sheets and pillows. I asked to be moved but I was told the hotel was booked, well apparently, there were already a lot of gamblers at the casino, so that explains it. I decided to take a nap while waiting for my document to be processed so I could head back to my apartment, covering my nose with my sweatshirt just so I could nap. When my document came in, I went down to request the staff at the reception if he can help me print my visa letter, but he was quick to say that if I don't have a Telegram app, he can't help me. Then he turned around. I approached another staff but she just ignored me. I asked the guy at the security check if I can speak with their supervisor or manager but he pointed me back to the reception area again. You can't get help from these people. Customer service at its worst. I decided to just leave the hotel, wasted my $82, unfortunately I had to deal with my situation. I wish I can post this without giving a star. I moved to another hotel, the Mocbai Bavet Casino and Hotel, the staff are friendly, the helped me print the documents I needed. The room was better and the food was great, too. Though I prefer to stay in a quiet, homey, clean place, you don't have much choice in this area. Most of the hotels near the border...

I was not expecting such a great experience based off of the reviews. I stayed in the hotel for a visa run in April ‘23. I paid $55 for the room, be sure to have cash on hand, cards were not excepted, however, everything was fantastic. Stayed for 2 nights in 2 different room. It was really hard to find a proper hotel which is clean and safe. So I have decided to stay in Casino Hotel and it was the right decision. Room condition was quite clean with cool AC. There is a restaurant inside so no need to worry about going out to have a meal.
