Hotel Jouvence International — Hotel in Yaoundé

The reception had a big fat wet stain that prepares you for the rest of the experience. Showers that open out onto toilets (explaining the draining problem), rooms full of mosquitos because the cleaners didn't close the door properly and my favourite the cockroach in the shower.

On the positive side, the staff were generally sweet and helpful, the rooms were big all things considering, with a walk by closet and balcony.

Food was also good I had the pork chops and alocco (fried plantains with French fries) which was good.

If you want a budget hotel and are not fussy about drainage or sometimes being inconvienced by shortage of water, poor Internet and disruption in light supply I would recommend. There was a beautiful view of the train going by that...

The cleanliness and hospitality are quite ok. The food has limited options and space for the restaurant is a bit crowded. The hotel crew is not good enough to communicate. I asked them what drink is available together with my dinner, where I was boarded with a full package of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. they told me there is beer, etc. I take one beer and they told me I should pay. This is ok, but the should have told me clearly which type of drink I am allowed to have together with my meals. Anyway, it is really fine but I advise you to press asking them...

Very Welcoming Hotel. People are very good and helpful. The service is quick and nice. The rooms are very good and clean and spacious. The view from balcony is good. Overall a very decent hotel with good people and service. Rates are also economical. All facilities are there in room like self illuminated mirror. Hair dryer, safe, refrigerator, telephone, free wifi, television Airconditioner, Reading lights, writing table with chair, sofa chair, ward robe...
