About halfway between Banff & Lake Louise on the Bow Valley Parkway lies this small campground. There's a single loop with only 43 campsites for tenting or small motorhomes. Definitely NOT for pull through units or larger 5th wheel setups. No electrical or sewer hookups are available. Flush toilets and potable drinking water available.||Most of the sites are fairly well separated and surrounded with trees. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing out of the way site - this would be for you.||The campground was well maintained and wood was always available. A cookhouse with food lockers is available to secure your food during overnight or while you are away. Conservation officers were regularly on patrol ensuring all campers were following the rules...

Read moreGreat campground 1st come 1st served so get up early !! We arrived at 8:30am and had the site number 3 : awesome!! It’s quiet despite the street behind. Not expensive (21$), huge site with fire pit and great picnic table. Not windy, no mosquitoes!! Potable water just in front of us. Perfect location to visit Banff as it’s 20 minutes away from Banff city and Lake Louise. The only thing is the restroom was at the other side of the campground but it’s very clean ! Don’t try to not pay your fire permit as the Rangers comes very often...
