Absolutely the worst campground experience we’ve ever had. We were sitting outside our trailer, minding our own business, quietly enjoying some music *well before curfew* — and yet we were told to turn it down like we were causing a riot. Meanwhile, everyone else is locked away in their trailers and it’s pouring rain — we were just trying to make the best of a miserable evening. The staff? Incredibly rude and condescending. No courtesy, no understanding, just immediate attitude. If this place is trying to be family-friendly or welcoming, they’re failing miserably. You’d think a campground would expect people to be outside and having a little fun, but apparently not here. And the bathrooms are NEVER cleaned. Oh and the people next to us left early because they couldn’t stand the camp host. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being policed for enjoying yourself. We will NEVER be back.

This is an amazing campground ⛺️ . The sites are large and spaced nicely with lots of trees surrounding them. Flush toilets 🚽 near the sites and a main washroom/shower building. There are lots of trails in and around the campground. It’s located right on Sylvan Lake but there is no beach access. There are a couple of playgrounds for kids to enjoy. The town of Sylvan Lake is about 10 minutes away yet the campground is quiet and feels remote. The rates are reasonable and many sites have power. My wife and I visited family here and were really impressed with the experience and the overall cleanliness. We would definitely come here and camp 🏕 in the future.

A gem of a campground, less than 2 hrs from Calgary. Sites are powered (so cost per night is higher) and large. There is saskatoon & choke cherry trees all over the camp site. There site is full of leafy, deciduous trees which offer lush shade in the heat of the day - not your typical dry conifer campground. The playground has fine sand which offers a lovely sensory experience for all users, with lots of opportunites for digging and playing. The bathrooms have stainless steel flush toilets that are very well maintained, and there are many trails to facilitate movement between the campsites. An excellent spot to come!

This Campground is a 10/10. There are 2 reasons why it is so popular/recommended/ full, it’s because it’s fantastic and it’s the only one close to Sylvan Lake and along the lake (no lake access). The price per night is very reasonable compared to other campgrounds in the area 10/10 The number of sites 10/10 for variety and selection The trails within and around 10/10, there are so many Saskatoons, Chokecherries, and Rose Hips to pick. Also the natural vegetation and small animals is awesome to see and be surrounded by on walks, runs, and biking around. The washroom and shower facilities 10/10. They’re not outhouses or your typical wooden roadside type washrooms, no these are lowkey luxury camping washrooms. There are 3 playground locations all kids like and a small ice cream shop nearby. They do have firewood for sale (however it’s cheaper to buy from the gas station in town).

You should stop hesitating and go to the website and...
