Everyone loves this place and it’s booked for months in advance so phone early and book, each suite is far from contemporary with a mix of furnishings and construction but the owners are super cool and gregarious as well as accommodating. An experience so unique that it’s part of the fabric that makes up Revelstoke and with the iconic Smokey the Bear statue that greets visitors to Revelstoke and the campground !

Great spot for a home base while visiting Revelstoke. Full hookups/wash house/laundry etc. Based on what I could see that have short and long term options for tenting/trailers/RVs and even some rental cabins. Can't miss the big Smokey Bear from the highway (see picture) don't think you'll find a better value or better owner/operators in the area

I grew up making memories with my family in our RV.. but when you head out on your own very first trailer experience as an adult (from the coast to revelstoke) .. things don’t always go as smoothly as planned, and you quickly learn how much you really don’t know about winter RV life. My dad always made it look so easy! I couldn’t possibly say enough nice things about Kathy and Clayton, who have been running the smoky bear for 18 years. They are amazing. From hookups, to electrical issues, to helping change a tire on our truck, they have gone above and beyond helping us through all of the first time RV’er mistakes and foibles, with a kind smile and an unprecedented level of hospitality. While it’s my first time flying solo, I have been to hundreds of campgrounds and resorts and I have genuinely never seen experienced such an amazing team. Above that, the grounds are impeccably kept, with phenomenal laundry services (huge asset when participating in the classic revelstoke activities), clean facilities, and over all a lovely culture within the grounds. Most guests seem to be long time returning clients, with nothing but glowing praise for the proprietors. We also rented a cabin here, which is immaculate and well kept, with incredibly comfortable beds! I would come back to this location as many as they’ll have me. You will not be disappointed, should you have the opportunity to stay here. If I could give 20...

The staff here is super friendly! We got here late on Halloween and Clayton helped us check in without a hitch. Many campgrounds were closed for the season and I'm so glad we found this place with their hours posted online. The office had two adorable dogs and a cat ready for affection. The site itself was nice - full hookups for a very decent price. We didn't have the right type of plug and the office actually carried an adaptor and helped us out (it was free to borrow, but we ended up buying it in case of use in the future). The bathrooms were pristine and the showers so warm and steamy (and free!) - perfect for a cold autumn night. Clayton even gave us a few bulbs of fresh garlic from his friend's place, which we happily used to cook dinner :) Overall fantastic...

Campsite & Cabin rental:

The owners are super friendly and very helpful.

Campsite: 3/5 they do not have fire pits, atleast not in the campsite we had, Sewer pipe was broken at this time, meaning it's leaking, the trees could have been trimmed a little bit to have them out of the way from scratching your camper/vehicles and they have sticky things that are EVERYWHERE (we were here at end of April)

Cabin: 5/5 We had the Saloon cabin comes with a BBQ, bring your own propane, they are super rustic and really cool looking. had a good size kitchenette, hot water immediately and a good amount of it, Bathroom was decently sized. cabin itself was super clean, Comfy beds, nice couch and dinning table set up.

I would recommend...
