I loved this little stop by the Ainsworth Hot Springs! The trees outside are full of Pears and the mountainous view contributed to the relaxing experience! There is a School Bus Betty O Cafe to take advantage of post hot spring soak hunger! At the hot springs, we bought the day pass wrist strap and went three times before the day was over and watched Family Feud on TV at bed time.

This place was amazing! Right next to the hot springs, fully equipped rooms with kitchenettes- utensils, fridge, coffee. And several pet friendly rooms! Beautiful outdoor space overlooking the lake and mountains. The owners were amazing and so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!!

Excellent value for location in a hotspring town. Well equipped rooms with efficient kitchenette and satellite tv. Beautiful communal green space (pictured) with BBQ, tables, chairs, and a view of the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff who will help you get the most out of your visit to the springs.

I am giving a guarded 4 star review.... The nice family that runs the Motel are awesome, they work hard to make a great experience, they are knowledgeable of the area and full of pointers. The atmosphere is fantastic, all guests seem to mingle well in the common areas and enjoy stories of what brought them to the area. The views are amazing and in such a historic location with no shortage of things to explore. The rooms are kept very clean, linens all spotless and fresh. The rooms are dated but still very comfortable. We did not book expecting a high end modern building. The only place I have to subtract a star is our room did have a very musty smell, while some of the family became nose blind to it fast I did not. I could see this being a major issue to some people. Overall the experience...

The place was cozy and seems to be well maintained. The couple who runs this place are LOVELY! They were welcoming to my family and even suggested some things to do nearby such as visiting Kokanee Creek Provincial Park and a farmers market in Nelson. There is a large seating area (with two BBQ grills) to eat and chill while enjoying a beautiful view of the mountains and Kootenay Lake. It is also very close to the hot springs. If anything for improvement, the wifi can run a bit slow since everyone is on the network but nothing too bad! Thank you for making our visit memorable, we would...

Looking for an affordable, comfortable, clean, place to stay along lake Kooteney? This is your place. Hosts were warm and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable, great view of the lake, and less than a block away from Ainsworth Hot Springs. Would make a great Basecamp for traveling up and down the lake as the units have small kitchenette and there are barbecue grills that can be used by the guests. The only complaint I would have is that there was no air conditioning on a day that it was over 100° F., but those days are probably rare. We hope to...
