We LOVED this campground and highly rate the river over the meadows! The power/water hookup sites were also beautiful and still had forest and bushes between one another for privacy. Although these sites are more exposed they do heat up quicker than the standard sites in the forest. There is a trail down to the river which allows you water access by foot. There is no sani dump in the campground so you just need to drive 2mins down the road behind the visitor centre for this. There are water taps for filling jugs etc located throughout the campground. There is also a bear cache/lock box by the bins if you need. You can walk to the start of the Berg Lake trail from here but it is approximately 20minutes one way and you need to walk on the side of the road. It is approximately 20km round trip from the campground to Kinney Lake (currently the trail is closed beyond this point as of july 2023). We would come back here in...

I love this campground. I kinda don't want to tell you about it so I can keep it to myself. I first should clarify we are no hook up campers. The 'power' sites here are not appealing to me as there's way less privacy and sites are closer together. I give 5 stars to the no hook up sites. They are massive, huge distances between sites, gorgeous views, clean, easy water/outhouse/garbage access. The sites closer to the highway definitely get some more highway noise. We were on the river side and didn't hear a thing. Mt. Robson campground across the highway is great too since Robson River...

Overall pretty good- traffic noise from the highway as expected. When the Parks staff came by initially, she asked if we would need fire wood, and added the “W” tag to our reservation as expected, and she said they’d be about an hour behind her. Unfortunately nobody came by with wood that night. We did see the Parks pickup truck zip through around 9:30pm but they hauled out fast without stopping. I noticed in the morning that many people still had their “W” tags up as well.

Power hookups at site R41 worked well. Pit toilets were clean...

Robson river campground was a fantastic experience. I will be honest, I did not know what to expect as we decided to call this campsite home for a night on our way to Jasper. It will now be a destination I visit every year. The campsite is tidy, staff are friendly and the views are incredible. Mount Robson towers over the campground and is difficult to describe. Located where the Robson river and Fraser River meet, this site offers lots of activities near by such as hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing. The bathrooms were clean too.
