Motel 7 Inn & Suites — Hotel in Beresford

We stayed at this location at the very beginning of a two week east coast adventure. We agree that it was our favourtie accomodation of the entire trip - it was our only motel (vs. hotel) and it was our most economical stay.||The owners are warm and inviting. They go above and beyond at every step, from giving us a quick call at check in time to check to make sure we were still coming, to showing us to our room and showing us how to use the mini split air conditioner, tv, AND MASSAGE CHAIR!!!||The rooms are HUGE. The reclining couches are a nice touch after a long day of driving. The bed was comfortable. The room is CLEAN. Very clean. Everything is new, the owners are new and they've recently renovated the entire property.||The property is welcoming, there's a great outdoor pool, a huge lawn at the back of the property, plenty of picnic tables etc.||The included breakfast is ample. Eggs, bagels, english muffins, toast, yogurt, fruit, pastries, tea/coffee, juice. We did not go hungry.||And again, the staff is BEYOND hospitatble. @John's Motel. Wonderful 😌. The motel is under new owners who has worked very hard to make it a wonderful place. The motel is under new name and is wonderful place now to stay. I couldn't believe how much it changed and now I'm looking forward to seeing the motel up and going because now it's so beautiful with room to sleep and bathroom beautiful with big beautiful kitchen. Beautiful motel now and really enjoyed seeing all new things done, i feel like going on vacation just to stay a night or so there, ahhh never mind i feel like moving in there it's so beautiful. Nuit du 26 au 27 juillet 2022. Ce charmant motel familial nous fut recommandé par une jeune employée au centre d'accueil touristique de Bathurst quand elle s'est rapidement aperçu que ce qu'elle nous proposait ne correspondait nullement à notre budget. Nous devions passer une nuit dans cette ville car nous attendions une pièce le lendemain matin pour notre moto qui arrivait de Montréal.||Ce motel est situé à quelques minutes de ce commerce en plus, soit Honda Olivier.||Le motel est situé en réalité à Beresford, à environ 5 km du centre-ville de Bathurst.||Dollard est le propriétaire. Un gars ultra sympathique et simple qui communique très bien en français. Son père John avait initié ce motel en 1969. Dollard l'a acheté en 1984. Une minute de conversation suffit pour devenir très à l'aise avec ce chic type. Il aime ses clients et fait tout pour que nous nous sentions comme chez-nous. Nous avons choisi la dernière chambre du deuxième étage située au bout face à la piscine. Le tarif était de $80.00 plus taxes pour un total de $92.00 ce qui est très raisonnable à comparer des hébergements inabordables de Bathurst et autres dans les environs. Notre nuit fut très confortable même sans climatisation. Plusieurs canaux de télévision. Wifi satisfaisant. Un lit double avec ventilateur si nécessaire. Un motel accueillant et rustique avec tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer un agréable séjour. La piscine chauffée est un atout ! Elle ferme à 21h30. Nous y retournerons à coup sûr pour y visiter la péninsule acadienne que nous n'avons pas eu assez de temps pour la parcourir au complet car nous étions en chemin vers Terre-Neuve. Nous recommandons fortement ce motel. Nous ajouterons plusieurs photos dès notre retour à la maison. Dollard aime parler et prend le temps de le faire avec ses clients. Il ne semble jamais pressé. Nous avons aimé sa philosophie de vie.
