Elevator didn’t work. Room is on the 3rd floor Told us it would be fixed the next day ( and it didn’t for the whole stay) Not enough towels. The toilet bowl has a bigger crack than my butt Wife asked for a towel and gave her just one One of the towel had a dark barefoot print on it There was a shelve of Metro bags with food for people in need to pick up food Two people picking up food were shouting at each other. I thought a fight was going to breakout. 1st day, got two incomplete breakfasts. Missing juice. Just got two boxes. Each box had a Kirkland oatmeal bar, a hard granite bagel, an apple, jelly, and a spoon. I asked front desk what the spoon was for, he said it was for spreading the jelly on the bagel. I think the box itself is worth more than the breakfast. Must sign for the breakfast and specify room number. They keep track. Coffee cup size is 6 oz. Coffee was very low quality No creamer or milk for coffee A lady came out to the lobby with two toddlers looking for the breakfast bar. I told her "you have to go the front desk. They have them in boxes behind the counter and you have to sign for it." The front desk guy said "there isn’t any left because the Walmart truck came with only partial delivery." Lady was mighty pissed and wanted a refund. The guy said "breakfast is free and he cannot give a refund for something that is free." Lady said "the place is a joke." Powder creamer was in a coffee cup. The other guest and I thought it was coffee left there by another guest. Tea bags are not individually sealed. Guests were digging into the coffee cup, touching every bad to take a tea bag out. Thermostat says battery low. Sometimes AC wouldn’t work. Keycard sometimes malfunctions and locks my wife out I asked for a ”do not disturb” side to be hanged at the door. They said they don’t have it and not of them do. There is no water fountain. I had to get ice and heat it up with microwave to make water All the floor’s ice dispenser doesn’t work. Only the one on the first floor works No one cleaned our room. My wife asked the cleaning lady for towels and she gave her one. Came back at night to ask for more towels. A different front desk guy gave us two small towels and said “that is all we have”; I asked for more and he said he didn’t’ have any more. Next morning, i went to ask for breakfast at the front desk. There were no boxes there. He said “Wal-Mart truck didn’t come today but we have some left over. We have no boxes but I can put it on a plate for you. Do you still want it?”. I said yes. I got a bagel harder than granite and a staled croissant; two Kirkland oatmeal bars; one orange; one apple; two jelly; two spoons. The guy says no juice. 3rd morning. It was different lady. She just said “no breakfast, there was no delivery." She didn’t even want to talk to you. There was a brown stained towel on the 1st floor. It smelled like urine and feces. Maybe the smell was to discourage you from having free breakfast. Wifi is always dropping. I had to use my iphone hotspot. The sink had no drain stopper. Toothbrush almost fell in drain. Water leaked out from the bathroom like Death is coming after you from the movie Final Destination. (SeePhoto). There was dog poop outside the lot. I stepped on it and had to do 5 minutes of moonwalk and break dancing to clean the sole, telling my wife "Billie Jean's not my lover....but that kid is not my son." 2nd morning I asked the front desk guy for towels, he told me to go to the laundry room to ask the cleaning lady for it. The other staffs would have gotten them from the room for the customers, but he was on his private phone. There was no one in the room. Max Length reached. Can't list anymore.
The says this on their website "Start your day energized with our complimentary coffee and grab-and-go breakfast available at the front desk. Stay connected throughout your stay with our free Wi-Fi" We didn't complain. If you want a big laugh, go for it. This place...
Read moreI wish I had read the reviews before using their dryer. My girlfriend had used their washer/dryer to wash our clothes. One of the two dryers don’t work. It’s absolutely negligent of them to know their dryer doesn’t work and not fix it or replace it. When my girlfriend complained she received enough change to dry the clothes a third time with the dryer that works. What about the other $2.25 that was spent trying to dry the clothes a second time in what we now know to be a broken dryer? Perhaps this cheap motel tries to skim money from its guests any way it can?
Aside from the stupid dryer, When we first came here, the room we were given had unmade beds and the plastic cups they give you, unpackaged and sitting all over the place. The towels were squeezed into balls and tucked between the bed and bedside table and laying on the luggage stand.
They take away their complimentary coffee at 10am in the morning. So in case you come here for a weekend, don’t think you can sleep in and grab a coffee and lay in bed. I think the staff decides that the coffee has been out long enough since the start of the shift. They don’t really consider their guests.
It’s incredibly annoying that my company booked me in here for 3 weeks. I can’t get a cup of coffee after 10am.
What’s worst is that they clearly don’t care what people think. I read the google review about the dryer just now and it’s become clear to me they don’t care, they haven’t fixed it.
I’m just about to go start a scene for $2.25 they haven’t returned for the broken dryer. Use the $2.25 to buy a coffee because NO I SLEPT IN TILL 10AM ON SUNDAY I CANT HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE.
I stayed in a much worst motel 6 in windsor and at least had a microwave in my room.
Back from issuing my complaint:
I was told they don’t read their google reviews because they believe that people lie. Granted I’m sure disgruntled guests could lie. But they were disgruntled first, so there is some truth to what they say. It’s the responsibility of the motel staff to determine what their problems are and fix them. Once people have nothing to complain about they will have better reviews. Most people these days do their research online before staying somewhere.
While complaining the older lady sitting further back to the right behind the desk at the computers was speaking to maintenance guy and sarcastically told him they will talk about it outside over a cigarette and made a face at him as if I was making a stink for no reason.
I went to Tim Hortons with my change I was refunded. Going to my car I saw them all huddled together by one of the motels entrances from the parking lot smoking right next to the door that has a no smoking sticker on it. I’m not sure if anyone is aware of smoking laws in Canada, but the motel itself doesn’t want smoking at the entrances. But the motel staff clearly likes to loosely follow the rules. I think they are the type that do the bare minimum to show that they do their jobs.
The maintenance guy told us that he put his hand in the dryer and said t was hot so it should be working.
In case the motel decides to actually pay attention to the criticism on google reviews, a dryer doesn’t ONLY need to be hot to dry. The moisture needs to be removed. Check the pipe for blockage Check the fan that pulls water vapour out of the dryer.

Read moreThis Motel 6 Burlington has the most EVIL and the most SINISTER customer service that I have ever encountered in all my life. They exist only to ROB THEIR GUESTS and make their guests' experiences the most HATEFUL, DESPICABLE and REVOLTING as they possibly can.
Not only was I the recipient of such REPREHENSIBLE treatment, but an online search of Reviews about Motel 6 Burlington reveals that many, many other guests have fallen victim to the TREACHERIES of this CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION known as Motel 6 Burlington. AVOID THIS MOTEL 6 AT ALL COSTS!
I reserved a room for my 12-year-old daughter and myself for two days. When we unpacked and began to settle in, a BED BUG casually strolled across one of the beds. We photographed it, killed it and flushed it down the toilet. My daughter was already beside herself with fear, insisting that we go to another hotel. I went to the front desk and advised the clerk about what had happened and requested another room. We moved to the other room, checked for insects, and found a DEAD BUG between the mattresses of one of the beds. By this time my young daughter was greatly distressed and traumatized, demanding that we go to another hotel. We packed up, went to the front desk, advised them of the experience, notified them that we were leaving because of the INFESTATION in their motel, and politely requested a refund. The clerk advised me to see the General Manager, Anton Gusev, the next day.
I came back the the next day and Anton refused to fully refund my monies, claiming that we "used" the room. How did we use the room when we never even spent one day in it?! We were forced to leave because of their BED BUG INFESTATION!
It has been almost a month now, and after a back-and-forth communication with Corporate Head Office and Anton Gusev, it became clear to me that only a SMALL CLAIMS COURT LAWSUIT will bring me the full refund which Motel 6 Burlington had ROBBED me of even though they had failed to provide to my daughter and I a safe, comfortable environment and a positive guest experience at their motel.
I sincerely CAUTION all travellers to HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MOTEL 6, especially their BURLINGTON, ONTARIO motel or you will be VERY SORRY. Online review after review shows that this motel is a very treacherous and evil place to do business with. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!
I will take them to SMALL CLAIMS COURT after I have first exhausted all other avenues for justice, and after warning the public of this CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION known as Motel 6 Burlington, by way of: social media online reviews government agencies business associations hospitality industry governing bodies news outlets. I am going to teach that degenerate reprobate, Anton Gusev, a lesson he will never forget with this lawsuit which I forewarned him is coming.
AVOID MOTEL 6, ESPECIALLY THE ONE IN BURLINGTON, ONTARIO! Now watch their fake and hollow response to this post, that they care, are concerned, and all that BS. Do not believe a word that...
