Cedar water park — Hotel in Clarington

I really like this place! The water park is smaller but perfect and it's not that packed. I guess alot of people don't know about it yet but once it starts to get crowded I think it will be ruined. The picnic areas are so big and spacious and perfect for family gatherings, bbq's, family reunions or bday parties as they allow you to bring in your food. They also have an area for camping but we just came for the water park with our kids. The pool area was very clean, the smaller kiddie areas wernt crowded and the kids were jus having fun. There's an extra charge of $10 for the water slides and you can go as much times as your heart desires, my kids loved them.

The only downfall were some of the guests and their particular ways of cleanliness. For example; this lady had her 3yr old in a regular diaper where she was playing in the pool, you can see the diaper puffed up with all the absorption of the water but then she wanted to #2 and you can see her #2 in her diaper and because of the water from the pool it was leaking out the sides...so disgusting! Like take your kid to the bathroom and don't let her back in the pool! They should enforce all babies to have only the Waterproof diapers. Another lady came into the pool in her long tights with her huge diaper or pad buldging through her pants just sitting in the pool like she's sitting in a bath...disgusting! I immediately removed my kids from the pool and we left. I can't stand people who are willingly gross on purpose. I may be back but like I mentioned earlier, as soon as the crowd knows about this place it will also be ruined like Wonderland and...

My family had an amazing day here. Excellent place for BBQ, pool party, picnic day with family and friends. There are lots of fun experiences in there for children and adults.

I bought tickets prior to my visit. There are on-site tickets available for giant slides and mini golf which was fun as well. The waiting was only for the giant slides, rest of the place was less crowded, neat and clean and was managed well by the lifeguards.

The giant bucket water part was the best with my 8yo😂

The washrooms were clean and less wait time for the turns. There were a lot of benches for the families at lunch and relaxing time.

Overall definitely a 5 🌟...

Now I would hate to sound like a broken record buy I feel the need to reiterate just how good the funnel cake fries are. These are not your everyday, working Joe, cut potato French fries nor are they they your common cake of funnel. The funnel cake fries are FRIES MADE OF FUNNEL CAKE. I didn't even know you could do that! It completely redefines the medium of sugary cake batter!
