->AMAZING hotel except for the prison-like shower<- I loved everything about this stay except for the shower which was worse than any on our 6 week north american road trip. Friendly check-in, nice lobby. Fancy coffee machine in lobby and wrapped cookies. Room was nice, clean, comfy. TV easy to use (which is rare) Wifi fast enough (23 mbps download/9 mbps upload) Included hot breakfast was amazingly attended and included: Scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes, waffles, bread products, cereals, fruit and all the rest. Gail, the breakfast attendant, did a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and topped up and fresh. She was very pleasant. And there was a small weird thing that happened when we were there at breakfast... One of the guests showed up for breakfast dressed like he just come from the pool (including bare feet) with loud music emanating from his pocket. Although the fellow was fine and extremely enthusiastic to find waffles, all of the guests that morning couldn't help but be described by his loud explanations and music. Gail asked him to turn down the music, and put on shoes, very kindly. The #1 worst part? The horrible shower. No tub, just shower. Ever been to prison? Well, then how about a trip down memory lane to the horrors of middle school showers after phy-zed class, eh? OMG. Terrible design. Not even one little shelf, hook or recessed area to place your little bottle of shampoo/razor/washcloth.... (I don't want to tell you where I had to stick the bar of soap when I was washing my hair!!!) I actually found dried up used old washcloths hidden up in the rings of the shower curtain and on top of the pile of towels (yes, other peoples used old washcloths - which they too had no place to put them, so they placed them there and forgot them - obviously housekeeping wasn't used to playing washcloth hide n seek) At the very least, install those pump bottles of shampoo so that's one less thing we have to try to hang onto in your horrible showers, for pete's sake. No matter how careful you were, water got all over the bathroom floor - then instead of playing "hide n seek" you got to play "slip n slide". Wheeee! Can you guess that I hated the shower? Anyway, that was the worst part of the stay, so really, all in all it was a good visit. I'd give a full 5/5 but that shower was the worst. Price on a weeknight in Sept 2025 was about $120 CAD before tax.

Silent and clean hotel. Regular cleaning, even if doesn't seem necessary. Very attentive staff to everyone and in a noisy environment when you need to serve a lot of people. Good coffee ;) Thanks a lot!

The process started shaky but ended well. I booked online and had 2 pets with me. When I got there the person behind the desk had some issues with knowing how to charge the card for the dog fee since I had prepaid online through orbitz. The room was very nice and clean. The lady working the breakfast the next morning was clearly in a bad mood and made sure she showed it. We were a little late to breakfast (but it was still open per their posted hours) because my wife was incredibly sick but the kids and I were just grabbing something quick to take back to the room. When she saw me getting orange juice from the machine at exactly 10am she made sure I knew that I was not allowed to use that past 10 then quickly got out her key and locked the machine while I was standing there. Although that is a small thing it has been over a week and that attitude will be a cloud over the breakfast service received. The most unfortunate thing was that we accidently left my wife's new diamond earrings in the room when we checked out. We realized it when we were about an hour down the road and then called the hotel to let them know and to ask them to ship them to our destination. After an email confirmation so they would have written proof we authorized a charge on our card for shipping they told us that nobody had yet been in the room and they would go get the earrings then ship them to us. After no response three days later I called them to get the tracking number. They didn't seem to know what I was talking about so the manager was supposed to call me that night. No call. I called again two days later and talked to someone else who did seem to know what was happening but didn't have a tracking number. She promised to call me back after a few minutes of digging. She did and informed me that the hotel had found our diamond earrings exactly where we said they were and then lost them before they shipped them back. The obvious disappointment here is that they had the earrings and lost them. They were a gift I'd given my wife the night before for our next step in life and a move to the US. They said they would call me back after a few days because they were contacting main office to see if they could make it right and asked me to send them a receipt for the earrings. After a few days they did send me the money which is greatly appreciated. Although there were some bumps along the road, ultimately they did try to make it right once the correct people were involved. The management would benefit by having a bit more personable staff actually working with the customers such as front desk and breakfast. I would stay here again because of their willingness to take responsibility for losing the earrings once they had them and their willingness to...

Worst stay I've ever experienced anywhere. If you are there to party, this is the place for you. If you are there with your family and require sleep...don't bother. I was put on the hospitality floor. I didn't realize this meant it turned into a bar in the evening past 11pm. Most hotels require a quiet period after 11pm. I was told the screaming, partying and door banging was encouraged as they were celebrating. The manager was condescending when I stated I have never experienced such a thing. After some complaints they gave us a different room to catch a few hours of sleep. When I spoke to her the next day, she tried to make things better AFTER I asked for a contact of the owner. While I appreciate I didn't pay for my second night and it would be reimbursed, it would of been nice to just be warned. I didnt request a refund or anything in compensation yet would of appreciated some understanding instead of being told that I chose the room ( I didn't)We left exhausted and feeling unwell. Why would I be put beside a separate team that was a party room? No one would agree to that. The rest of our group was on a completely different floor.

We also got to make our pull out bed on the first night as it wasn't made. Oddly our door was slightly open when we checked in. The pool was closed (the person who blocked the rooms wasn't told). However the front desk gentleman was kind and friendly. The room was clean besides making the one bed.

All in all....skip this hotel if you want a restful weekend. Or at least be asked to put on a quiet floor. I always assumed quiet time was a given from 11 pm to 7...
