- Camp sites were small and narrow, barely had space for people's cars, let alone RVs, and the roads were even narrower. Beware if you have a longer RV. - Sites were too close together, sloped ground, had a random pile of sand covering one end of ours for some reason - Had a cage with a severed duck wing hanging in it at the edge of our site... No explanation of what it was - Got slivers from walking thanks to the wood chips all over the ground - Our site was directly next to a construction site, not exactly the nature experience you'd expect from camping - Other campers had music, almost to point of competing at how loud they could be at 10:30pm and onwards; woman at the desk seemed to think it was our job to ask them to quiet down - Large signs all over the park say that quiet time begins at 10pm but the fine print signs shows that quiet time only begins at 11, and even then it is not enforced - Owners are completely money hungry--we decided to leave a night early and allow our nice neighbours to park their car in our space till check out time the next day so that they could have some extra space in their own cramped site. Owner's manager saw us leaving and tried to sell our site to someone else while we were still there, even when we said we had plans for it since we paid for it. - Christian group was playing sermons and movies past 11 with heavy bass every night, the sound kept us up and when we went over to ask them to turn down the volume they shushed us... These are the kind of people this campground attracts. The owner did nothing to keep things quiet. - According to other reviews it seems they advertise free WiFi on their website: it is only available at the main office and I believe it is shut off at night. All in all a horrible experience. We only went there because we were a little late on booking and everywhere else was full. It was a busy long weekend and a number of sites were empty, which goes to show how horrible of a reputation it has. Avoid it if you can and get a far better experience somewhere else. EDIT: Ha! What a wonderfully eloquent response from the owners. Adding a screenshot just in case they delete it. Please read their responses to every negative review and judge for yourself whether or not you would like to stay in a place managed by these people :)

Quaint little site just off the main road. Power hook ups for the RV were nice. Bathroom and showers were super clean and kept in great condition. Big outdoor sink near washroom to wash dishes, as well as community pots and pans (I thought this was so cute, and smart!) Ice machine had no ice - understandable though, as it was hot out. There is thankfully a liquor store just a 2 minutes drive down the road. Cell service is great Neighbors are close, but not too close. All in all, great camp site. Owners are super nice as well!

We come here at least once a year and it’s a little slice of heaven. With The old bicycles, the tire swing, the mountain face in the back of the park, to all the trees! As Harrison hot springs is getting built up, this place still feels like you are in the nature. So close to the lake, it’s great! Lots of playgrounds nearby as well. Love taking pictures of my kids around the campground as you can see haha . Can’t wait to come back!

This review is for the quality of sleep you may experience over a weekend in this campground.

We arrived around 8PM on Friday night. At that time, everyone was still awake and enjoying the evening. Some people were playing music, but that's no problem. However, by 10PM a large group at the end of our row were still yelling and subjecting the rest of us to their taste in music. Around this time, a smaller group arrived at the campsite next to us. We went to bed before 11:30, but couldn't sleep until after 2AM because the large group at the end is keeping everyone awake: us, the couple next to us, the small group beside us, and at least 1 or 2 babies.

On Saturday evening, we thought someone had spoken with the large group at the end, because they weren't as noisy as Friday night - or maybe they were just too hungover. We went to bed early, but as the night went on the large group became louder. Their loud talking, yelling, and intermittent music kept everyone in our area awake, and caused a baby to cry nearly all night. At least three times, I heard other campers (or the manager) yelling at this group that it was quiet time, and to be quiet. Sometime after 3AM, we were woken up by people yelling while running around the campground with flashlights. I could tell it was the larger group because they sound like teenagers, while the smaller group next to us were in their 20s and had been quiet for hours.

Sunday morning after 8AM, we had slept badly for 2 nights now and asked the smaller group next to us if they could please lower their voices - even though it was past the quiet hours. They were very nice, apologized and were quiet for ages, which we appreciated. When we were packing up to leave hours later, the lady across the road from us said she was really upset, her baby was awake all night because some kids were being way too loud. We walked over to tell her we hadn't slept well either, and that the group at the end had been up partying all night. The manager was riding her bike past, and stopped to speak with us. She was concerned and very nice. The lady's campsite was situated further back in the trees, and she thought it was just the group beside us being loud - so when they drove past to leave the campground, the manager stopped them to say they had to apologize for keeping everyone awake. They were blamed for all of the noise that weekend, which was really unfair.

After everyone had dispersed, I approached the manager again to clarify that the large group of teenagers were the ones being excessively loud and keeping everyone in the area awake.

This situation was the fault of the campground - the campsites are too close together to accommodate groups of 15+ people, and they need to enforce the quiet hours so that people who don't party can get more than 4...

This one was a total frustration. We had to make a last minute reservation for 10 nights at this camp site for a 30 ft 5th wheeler we rented from Ourdoorsy starting from July 6 ,2020.The person seemed to be in charge -can also be the owner- here, a long grey haired lady, was pretty nice on the phone when we talked for reservation. She was kind and helping during registration as well. The first thing we noticed was "Cash Only" notification on the registration desk, we were not surprised since she mentioned this on the phone previously that they would be asking for a cash payment. We paid, registered and proceed to our site she claimed to be a "nice one", which actually was a tiny one with two neighbors on both sides at an arm's length in a pool of mud surrounded by troops of mosquitoes. You expect and accept to be in nature when you decide to go camping, but if you prefer to pay $64/night to a campsite instead of running into wild, you also expect (and I believe deserve) a certain level of site maintenance and service during your stay. Well that's not available at this campsite at all. Everything looks untouched for over a hundred years; rusty, dusty, unattended and even creepy. But the real issue is the attitude of the manager. Things can go wrong somehow and you may have to leave earlier than you've planned, right? You may have an urgency unforeseen, you get sick etc. and you may want to check out? That's what happened to us; we stayed 5 days and had to leave and asked for a refund for the remaining 5 days. The manager, said "we don't do refunds" with a weird grin on her face. We realized than why they were asking for cash payments and does not even provide you with a receipt or an invoice etc. I wonder how do they manage to keep decent records for their tax returns. We would not be returning to this place and do not recommend anyone to do so; don't ruin your holiday and waste your money for this mud pool...

UPDATE: I wish you could have responded my review by saying you actually have some improvement on your campsite. You speak for yourself by the way you "take action" in response to the negative reviews as a business owner and by the way you're dealing with your customers ("guests" for an accommodation business actually). We have no relation whatsoever to "harbour a grudge" or wanting to have revenge; pls. do not overestimate "the bad memory" of a 5 day vacation :) I only wanted to share our experience, and I guess that's what these reviews...
