Extremely rude management. I'm only giving it 2 stars because our actual site was decent and the view of the mountains was quite nice.

The playground is a giant mud pit, completely useless for kids, the wifi is shotty at best and they cap you at a data usage and # of devices you can use.

I didn't actually use the restroom as we used our own so I can't speak to that. But just a heads up, they close them between 11-12pm daily for cleaning and that is not posted anywhere.

The woman who runs the reservations is the rudest I have EVER encountered and she will be the reason we never return.

Upon booking, we specifically requested two sites next to eachother as our two families had young kids that we needed to be close to at night. When we showed up, we weren't booked next to eachother and when we questioned it, it became OUR problem.

The site in question had guests that had just arrived and hadn't even set up yet so obviously she just screwed up and was trying to put it back on us.The other unit moved without any hesitation at ALL and everything was great.

When we showed up to check in, she was badmouthing me and my guests as I stood there and listened to her.

She was BEYOND rude and accosted me upon arrival when we did nothing wrong other than question why the plans fell through when SHE was the one to guarantee.

We will never be back and I highly recommend searching other options when looking to...

The park was easy to find. It is located just off of Highway One on Flood Hope Road. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. Our site, 4, was a pull through that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (50/30 amp, water, sewer and cable TV) were to the left side. All services worked well. There are no real buffers between our site. Distancing is very close almost awning to slide. Each site has a table. Our’s was very small. Overall the park was well groomed. The full time sites were neat and tidy. Wifi is included in the price and worked well enough for YouTube and mail but don’t even think about streaming. We did not look for OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees. We did not use the washrooms or free showers but looked and found them the be clean. The Playground equipment looked new and the wood chip base was fresh. We did not hear a lot of Highway noise even though it is close. There are no restaurants or services within walking distance but the town of Hope is only about 10 minutes down the road. This is a pleasant stop for over night (or a few days) but not much longer. There isn’t much to do in Hope. We paid $48.00 per night inc tax with a 10% GS discount and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area.

Update August 2023. Not much changed except price is now...

Pluses: a lot of grass on our campsite(but not every one has it) , lot of tress and shade, even blackberries to pick up, a lot of very private sites, full hookups with wifi , not crazy expensive 42.00 per night, dog park on campground, clean washrooms, music - radio in the washroom, free showers, laundry room, playground. Minuses: only one washroom building on the campground which is at the beginning of camp. So there is really long walk to get there if you have site not at the beginning .The same with trash bin. Only one at the office building right at the beginning of camp . It should be one in the middle of camp or same small other bins. Close to exit to highway #1 so it is noisy but the plus is easy access to main road. Camp is located just off Hope . In 2021 second visit : The lady in the main office (I think is the owner) needs a lesson in customer service and should probably not be the front face of any rv park/campground. We decided to turn around and spend our money elsewhere which is a shame because it is good the...

Enjoyed a nice weekend stay at the Wild Rose Campground and RV Park in Hope, BC. Nice campground. Very reasonable rates, gracious hosts, clean park, good amenities including multiple hookup options (E/W/S + SD) for those in RV's (big rigs included as they have pull throughs), tent trailers, really nice (and some very private!) tent sites, 24/7 free hot showers and flush toilets, a kids' playground, picnic spots, places to ride bikes, a group camping spot, dog trail, plus a small store with basics and firewood bags for sale. Close to Hope if you need to go into town for something and to get to various natural and historic attractions. Only downside is a whir of mild highway noise as the campsite is close to Hwy 1. Not too noticeable at night though :-) Only other thing I couldn't find was a tenter's dish washing station. Overall, a great stay! Recommended to those who are campers of all types!

If you choose to stay here, be aware that site 49 or any other sites close to the shower/bathroom building are illuminated to a point that is unbearable. It’s like daylight in your camper/RV. We experienced an enjoyable stay until the photocell illuminated the brightest light ever, that was shining directly into our camper. I would strongly suggest that management replace both lights on the bathrooms to fixture that only shines down as apposed to outward. It seems other visitors weren’t annoyed by the light; perhaps because they were experiencing a high from the potent and pungent marijuana smell emanating through the entire campground. We are giving two stars however due to the fact it was very clean.
