George House Heritage Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Island of Newfoundland

The only positive thing to say is that our room was clean. Our bed wasn't even a queen. There was barely any room to walk around the bed. No room for a suitcase. Because of COVID we requested that breakfast be brought to our room. It was pitiful. Nothing like what others describe in their reviews. The place looks like a museum. Not even water was offered to us. Every B&B I have stayed at has cookies or a little snack for the guests. This place offered nothing. Todd, the owner, was rude. I asked him for more tissues and he just left them on the stairs. He has no social skills and was very unpleasant. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

In response to your comment below: You are unprofessional and a liar! We didn't trash your room. We were very neat and respectful of your property. And we didn't bring any food into your B&B. We don't even eat fried chicken or potato chips. That mess must have been left by another dissatisfied guest. You are a blatant liar. And we had nothing but wonderful things to say about the people of Newfoundland. They are warm, welcoming people. Our stays in other hotels were wonderful experiences. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the Dildo Brewing Company, and nestled in a truly picturesque setting.||||The house itself is full of charm, both inside and out. You can tell that a lot of care and attention went into restoring and decorating it—every detail feels thoughtfully chosen.
