Nanaimo Ocean View Guesthouse — Hotel in Nanaimo

We stayed in the Nanaimo Ocean View Guest House for 2 nights.|Around a 10 minute drive from the ferry port the house is situated in a very quiet road overlooking the water, which is around 150m away.| |Our room was excellent and on-suite, good WiFi and a big tv with loads of channels.| A balcony with chairs was accessed through some patio doors.|There is a shared area which has free tea and coffee a kettle and microwave and a shared fridge.||There is parking for 2/3 cars.||I would happily stay here again.||Tony’s Tips||There is a cafe around 5 minutes drive away called Drips, opens 0700 on week days 0800 weekends, that’s good for breakfast.||Good free WiFi.||Reverse into the parking spaces it’s easier to get out..||Everywhere is a drive...

Not for nothing is this place called "Ocean View" as it sits on a lush hill facing the ocean, in a quiet neighbourhood just north of the city of Nanaimo (in the evening, expect deers and hummingbirds in the gardens here!). Piper's lagoon or Neck Point can be reached by driving a few minutes downhill. The place is squeaky clean, rooms open on a balcony with ocean and garden view and there is a common room with a microwave oven, a fridge and an expresso machine for shared use. Last but not least, the owners are very friendly, well-travelled...
