Erie-O Motel and Marina — Hotel in Ontario

Wow, where do we even start with Erie-O Motel? From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were welcomed into a warm, tight-knit group rather than just checking into a motel. The owners, Bridget and Paul, are the heart and soul of this place, and their friendliness and hospitality are simply unmatched.

Staying at Erie-O Motel felt like being welcomed into a big family. Bridget and Paul went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt at home. Whether it was recommending the best local spots to visit or simply sharing stories around the fire pit, they made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. It felt like we've known them for years!

The surrounding areas are absolutely breathtaking. With access to a kayak and even a tandem bike, exploring the beauty of the nearby beach, restaurants, breweries was an unforgettable experience. There's something magical about Erie-O and these two fantastic souls! They provided us with BBQ, fire wood, kayaks, bikes, fresh caught fish and the best company you could ask for in a place far from home.

The first nigh they even had a karaoke party and everyone was having a blast which went on late. These people have a big heart and like to have a great time!

Place is designed beautiful with warm Christmas lights that really bring out the vibe of this spot all night!

I couldn't recommend this place enough. We will 100% be back and very soon. Possibly the next long weekend? You go for a place to stay and you'll make friends you wont soon forget.

This was our first visit. My Wife and I took a road trip to celebrate our 40th. |Paul & Bridget were so kind to us recognizing our milestone. |Scout their dog is beautiful and really nice. |It has a wonderful view of Rondeau Bay. There's a boat launch and wonderful walkable cement deck surrounded with Muskoka Chairs. The view is incredible. |We were in #8 overlooking the Dock Area. |Room was totally fine. Wi-Fi and excellent TV which I believe was Satellite. |Cell service was just fine. |There is a beautiful Bonfire Area to gather at and fully stocked with one heck of a lot of seasoned wood. It was a nice place to bring a drink and meet some new people. |You can bring your own Drinks to the Motel. |They have bicycles avail. if you and family want to go for a ride. |-Went to Molly-O restaurant directly across the street and went to the same owner adjoined bar.|-Sunday, we went to Bayside Brewing Company a stones throw away for live music backing on to the bay. Had fun having drinks, dancing and had bruschetta which was excellent. People were having a great time. It was a very happy place. I've seen not so great reviews but Bayside staff were very nice and very hard working. |Erieau seems to be a very family friendly and a very safe place. People are very respectful. |We will definitely be going back to this Motel. ||Thank you Paul...

Friendly proprietors who really put their hearts into making you welcome. The location is superb with marina facilities on site as well as some fishing.|This is a classic older motel which has had some useful upgrades.|Our arrival was a surprise to Paul, the owner, due to a clerical error but we were accommodated in a basic room for the first night instead of a room with kitchenette.|Luckily we were able to move to a better room the next day and were compensated for the inconvenience. The beds are probably in need of replacing soon, but are ok.|Ductless a/c is provided and is effective with baseboard heating when required.|Parking on the street is easy as is walking to the beach or local bars. |Our second room was much better. Room 6 is a one bedroom apartment with a double and a single bed in the bedroom as well as a sofa bed in the lounge area.|TV includes Netflix and YouTube etc.|The area is described as a 'Redneck Riviera' and very relaxed.|The beach has excellent access for people who are physically challenged, with a beach mat path enabling strollers, wheelchairs etc easier access to the water.|Two gas BBQs are available and a fire pit for cosy evenings.|Scout is the resident dog and has mastered opening doors! Always pays to lock the door...
