I recently stayed at the Carriage Inn Motel and had a pleasant experience. The motel is conveniently located close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. This is the most worst place to stay next to the train tracks stayed for a night after booking 24hrs ahead the owners lied about the original price of $80 a room it was $90 a night it’s was completely freezing with no controls of the heat ice on windows burn holes in carpet in a non smoking room sink keepys dripping the as they say free wifi is ridiculous u have to stand out side to connect the 17” tube TV is also ridiculous also had no shampoo or hand soap 1 towel knowing had 2 people staying iv stayed at the blue jay $60 a night 42” flat screen with satellite full controls of heat 5 towels full wifi bottles of water and chips after confirm payment clean rooms and excellent service all sleep in my car in a Walmart parking lot befor...

My partner and I stayed here on the weekend. I phoned ahead of time and the owner on the phone addressed me by name and was very friendly. Upon arrival, check in was a breeze and the owner and I chit chatted for a bit before we settled into the room. The motel is on the edge of town, but within a 3 minute drive is a Timmies, an Independant, a Country Time and a gas station. Being on the edge of town, it's quieter in the area and we both slept wonderfully. The only reason I didn't give 5 out of 5 was that where my room was, the wi-fi signal was a little weak, and the shower had some spots of dirt but generally we had a great stay and will not hesitate...
