We stayed for two nights, right from our check in the man was very rude. And There was big ants in our bathroom. Then our rooms were very outdated and there was no utensils or cups in the room so I couldn’t have coffee. Plus the door locks automatically behind you so even when you go to the car or sit outside you need your keys or you will be locked out. And their office closes at 10pm so if you lock yourself out after that your sleeping in the car. I thought I would see the Percy rock but it’s not visible from most rooms and the look outs…
Front desk man was very condescending to us. Stayed here with my dog. we stayed in multiple hotels with our dog and never had a problem. On their website theirs no indication that I found of an extra fee for a dog. I am used to paying a fee but this place 75$! The front desk guy told us we would get 50$ back after if there was no damage to the room. The dog did not go on any furniture. We only used one bed the other was untouched. My dog had his own dog bed from home. We spent almost no time in the room as we were out hiking all day. When I called back to know if it was a mistake that I didn’t get my money back he said that our cottage was “plein de merde” as in hair was everywhere. My dog is not even a long haired dog and we made sure the place was spotless before leaving so we could get our money back. On the phone the man was very cold and dismissive. I told him I had a picture of the cottage from right before we left and he didn’t want our picture. He told us he had pictures of how “dirty” our room was but when I asked for them he refused to send them. Very disappointed.
I did not say I was going to cause problems I said kindly “thank you I will leave a review of...
Read moreSpent four days at this location and at first it took some getting used too. The floors are definitely not level and there is a lack of lighting. The gentleman at the front desk was rather abrupt and it appeared that he did not want to be bothered. A rather cantankerous person. The younger male was more accommodating. Laundry facilities consist of a paying washer, $2.00 per load and one dryer, $ 2.25 per load. There are two look out oints, but this is not beach access as we were told prior to booking. Nearest beach outside Perce where you do not need to pay is at Coin du banc, a 7 minute drive and the other is at Cap Espoir 12 min away, ||Playground for young children consists of a metal swing set and a huge lobster trap. There isn’t much else for young children. The barbecues advertised actually charcoal pits and there are only two for the entire complex. There were three actual barbecues but we were not allowed to use them. What saved this place from getting a three or less was the view and the two lookout points. Website needs to be revamped as it is...
Read moreThis was the best place we stayed on our trip to Gaspesie. It is a little bit out of town, away from the crowded strip of Percé . The setting is outstanding, talked into hills with spectacular views made better by a couple of strategically placed look offs. We stayed in one of the little log chalets. They were spotlessly clean and well appointed. I found myself looking forward to the evenings, sitting on the little deck. It has a very atmospheric setting and a fascinating history. I found the price quite reasonable too, especially compared to other places we stayed which were much less interesting and more expensive. I would love to return in another season, maybe in the fall! Highly...
