Motel Panoramik — Hotel in Sainte-Adèle

Did a 1 night stay during Quebec spring break on Mar. 5, 2019, and just wanted a cheap place to stay for me and my 2 kids for a two-day skiing stint in the Sauveur area. Check-in was easy and Gregory was already expecting me when I showed up. He was very friendly and accommodating. ||||The room was fine, nothing to write home about, but at least it was clean. It had a small fridge (which ran so loudly I had to unplug it before going to sleep), a TV, a small desk, and an office chair. The closet was small and awkward, and there was definitely a lack of hooks for hanging stuff. The 2 double beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was fine, albeit a bit small.||||The next morning, breakfast was offered which consisted of muffins, some fruit (apples and bananas), bread with jam and PB, cereal, milk, coffee, and juice. It was all just sitting at a table and counter in the reception area, so you had to take food back to your room eat. It was not much, but better than nothing, and saved you from having to pack breakfast or go out and buy breakfast somewhere else.||||Overall, I was happy with the location, the cleanliness, ease of check-in, and price. I would consider it again if I wasn't looking for luxury accommodations, and if other cheaper options in the area were...

Guests beware! Think twice before you book. This motel has a check-in time frame between 3pm - 10pm EST. Typically your booking info will only show check in 3pm and check out at 11am, as indicated in the photo below.

There will be no one to check you into the motel if you arrive late! The worst part is, I had to find another hotel on the night of arrival after a 6 hr drive because the owner has a curfew to abide by. In the travel and hospitality business, this is unacceptable. The least owner could do on the night of booking is to call me before he closes reception to make an arrangement.

As well, the motel owner does not speak English, so you better be ready to speak French if you are thinking about booking.

Nous avons passé la nuit du 8 au 9 juin 2017 dans ce charmant motel et nous étions dans la chambre 116. Le motel n’est pas récent certes mais tout est fait en sorte pour que l’on s’y sente comme chez-nous de la part de Monsieur Stefan Gaspar et sa charmante épouse ainsi que de leur gros chat adorable de 9 ans avec sa nouvelle tonte style lion qui ne passe pas inaperçue. Notre chambre 116 était très propre avec un lit queen confortable. Nous avons choisi une chambre avec plancher de bois mais vous pouvez aussi en choisir une avec tapis. La salle de bain était propre et la douche fonctionnait bien. Le wifi était excellent. La chambre était joliment meublée et confortable.|| Notre chambre 116 était assez humide car placée plus à l’ombre qu’au soleil mais nous aurions pu demander une chaufferette électrique et portative question d’évacuer cette humidité et Monsieur Gaspar s’excusa le lendemain matin d’avoir oublié de nous offrir cette possibilité car il en a une douzaine à offrir aux clients en cas de besoin. Alors, n’hésitez pas à lui demander au besoin. Nous avons utilisé une couverture supplémentaire qui était dans la garde-robe et nous avons finalement très bien dormi dans le silence. La chambre nous a semblé bien insonorisée. Nous avons payé l’excellent tarif de $51.00 soit $60.69 avec taxes et le petit déjeuner très convenable est gratuit et servi dès 8 heures dans une petite salle accueillante avec suffisamment de tables et chaises pour contenir une bonne douzaine de personnes. Nous avions du bon café ainsi que la possibilité de se faire des rôties de pain blanc ou brun. J’ai vu un plat de bananes fraîches mais nous avons opté pour des œufs à la coque, rôties de pain brun avec une sorte de danoise sucrée. Tout était frais et bon. Monsieur Gaspar a conversé avec nous le temps du petit déjeuner et ce fut fort agréable. || Il nous avait chaleureusement accueillis la veille quand il était assis derrière le bureau de la réception. Nous avons conversé avec son épouse le lendemain matin et c’est là que nous avons connu le gros minet sympathique qui aime se faire caresser soit dit en passant Nous avons payé le même tarif que celui qui nous était proposé en ligne par Expedia et Booking. Le motel est situé au cœur de la nature à environ 3 km au nord de St-Adèle sur la route 117 et à l’écart de celle-ci et juché sur une colline. Vous pouvez profiter du gazebo et la piscine qui sont propre et très bien aménagés. La piscine était presque prête quand nous y étions car la température très peu clémente des récentes semaines na certainement pas permis aux clients de se baigner. Un bon répulsif peut être utile surtout au petit matin et en soirée.
