My family has been camping at Sidney Spit for a quarter century. This year, our grandson (and his parents) were there. The place is magical and beautiful, and so little changes. The chief complaint would be double edged: since becoming a National Park Reserve, the list of rules just gets longer and more odious. On the other hand, the National Parks people have banned all boats from the lagoon (a terrific important move), and clearly care about keeping the place pristine.
