Small area with a nice rocky beach. Saw a lizard or two here on the logs near the sign and the bench. Not a lot of parking from this location, there are a couple of one-hour spots. It is a public beach/public beach access. Didn’t see any of the birds at the time that I went in the evening.

Pebbly, rocky beach. Saw a heron standing in the water and three young ones sitting tall in their nest high up in a tree (mid-June).

Not sure where exactly the bird sanctuary is - the whole bay? - but Roberts Bay is beautiful.
