The room is so small, it's 18ft by 15ft. Never would think a room could be this small, with 2 double beds ! The 1st bed is at the door. & there isn't much room betwwen the beds. They only get a 1 star cause the bed was comfortable & bathroom clean. The shower, tub is in the bedroom, with no privacy. It's very strange. They don't clean the rooms everyday cause of covid. That doesn't make any sense, with covid the room should be cleaned everyday ! There is dust & dirt under the beds, like months worth, & on most surfaces too ! The fridge is bigger then mini bar, but not full size ,like they say they are in all the rooms. Room aren't all the same & some are even more dusty. They had a scary broom outside to swipe your own room with. Which I had to use. On the website it osnly shows the one nice room. Not worth the money, it's to much for what you get. There is bq's which are shared & not enough of the...
Read moreI am editing my review as the rooms have gone downhill over the last few years- we attend here 4 to 5 times a yer every year for over 15 years now. This last weekend the room (room 4) appeared clean but there was an off odor to the room- possibly a dirty mop in the closet or something. It affected my sleep it was so strong. Paid extra for the jaccuzi that doesnt work....it worked in previous years. We love the area so I am hoping things improve soon or we will have to look for other accomodations. The cabin is very musty now as well- the back wall outside is black and needs a good scrubbing to get rid of the mold.

Read moreI stayed there for a second time and the place is amazing. We rented a room with 2 double beds fridge stove and dishwasher more or less a self contained apartment. The place was very clean and well kept(spotless). In the evening the manager Emil would build a bonfire for the guest to collect around and share their experiences and trip stories. The people were of many nationalities who stayed there and visited Algonquin Park. The manager was very friendly and knowledgable and extremely personable. In the morning we were treate to a great breakfast consisting of fresh fruits, cereals, toast ham and eggs. I was amazed by its freshness and variety. Also included was juices coffee tea and milk. Far superior to big chain motels and hotel I would just say I would give this place a five star rating and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting...
